Every time was stay at hotel we find what we need. ★This is the cleanest place. I have ever seen. The bathroom is very clean. We have good hot water and cool water as we like. ★There is also a small shop behind the hotel which is convenient for everything. ♥The safari organized by the hotel is excellent.the hotel has several safari option.. ♥The driver gives a very good. Eeplanation about the animals. ( ok safari gives 100% marks ) ★We had dinner at the hotel. We were amazed by the dinner.the dinner is a very tasty. ★The hotel has an ayurvedic massage center. ♥I am 100% sure that is a must stay place when you come to udawalawe......

Beautiful location, amazing Room equipped with all you need, great pool. Nice restaurant. Safari organized by the hotel. Only a very thin bed sheet provided. Could definitely use a small blanket too though.

The host really tries to accommodate every request. My spouse had her birthday, and he helped me organize a surprise safari. The villa is amazing, super well decorated and everything is clean and tidy. You wake up with a view right into the forest. Also always important for me: the bathroom. Great warm shower!

A continental breakfast is available daily at the guesthouse. this is a wonderful small family run business. there are only a couple of chalets and everything is run by family members from the taxis, to the safari to the food. The chalet was lovely and clean, we loved the outdoor bathroom and how authentic it was. the food served by Sachith and his family was absolutely delicious and we ate like kings. if you love authentic home cooking you are in for a great experience! the safari was well organised and we had breakfast, provided by Sachith around the lake during the trip - more delicious Sri Lankan food! we also enjoyed a few cold lion beers before dinner, much appreciated. if you like to enjoy experiences away from the crowds and get to know the local people more then this is definitely the place to go. Sachith and his family were very welcoming, friendly and provided a great service.

Set in Udawalawe, 16 km from Udawalawe National Park, Hasthi Safari Cottage features accommodation with a hot tub, spa facilities and wellness packages. Dasun, the owner, was super nice and organized a safari for us, brought us to the elephant orphanage, and as well to a river, so that we could refresh ourselves on those super hot days. The place is pretty, the room comfortable and the food was really good.

Situated within 8.2 km of Udawalawe National Park in Udawalawe, Peacock Villa Resort provides accommodation with seating area. This guest house features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. We absolutely loved Peacock Villa! The family who runs it is so incredibly kind and friendly. You stay on their property where the meals are home cooked (tbh the best food I had in all or Sri Lanka), they drive you in their keep for the safari and the property itself is beautiful. While sitting on the balcony, we saw a bunch of monkeys crossing through trees. They will also help arrange transportation for you at a great rate considering the distance. I can’t wait to come back here sometime again!
