Lovely setting in a beautiful homestay environment. It was very peaceful sitting in their beautiful garden, and the orchestra of frogs in the evening was a delight. The rooms were comfortable and spotless. Dimu and his wife were so genuine and lovely, and the curries were delicious. Dimu organised a safari tour with Sumudu as our guide. Sumudu's knowledge and respect for the animals was very much appreciated. We saw many wild elephants, Sambur deer (very rare), deer, wild boar, golden jackals, Buffalo, crocodiles, peacocks, monitor lizards, mongoose and many beautiful birds. One of the highlights of our trip! Thanks for an amazing stay, Dimu!

Beautiful location, amazing Room equipped with all you need, great pool. Nice restaurant. Safari organized by the hotel. Only a very thin bed sheet provided. Could definitely use a small blanket too though.

Nos prepararon el safari y también muy agradable, pudimos ver elefantes, cocodrilos, búfalos de agua, y otras especies endémicas de Sri Lanca además incluía la entrada al orfanato de elefantes

Hasthi Safari Cottage está en Udawalawe, a 16 km de Parque nacional Udawalawe, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. El alojamiento cuenta con 3 bonitas cabañas, una sencilla pero bonita estancia para comer y un precioso jardín muy cuidado. Está situado en el centro de Udalawawe pero nada más entrar te sientes en un oasis de paz. Las cabañas son muy cómodas y limpias, el baño con ducha exterior es fantástico. La comida es deliciosa, se nota que se hace todo con mucho mimo. Cocina la madre de Dasun y la cena y el desayuno estaban buenísimos. Dasun es un anfitrión inmejorable, nos ayudó con todas nuestras necesidades y estuvo pendiente de que estuviéramos cómodos y bien atendidos. Además fue muy atento y cariñoso con los niños y se esforzó en conseguirnos un safari y el trayecto a nuestro próximo destino. Nos encantaría volver!!

The room was clean and beautiful, the AC worked, a very big balcony, from which the view to the national park opened and an elephant trotted by. The food is excellent, the dinner was very rich. The family was very friendly, they help organize Safari tickets and Jeeps. I highly recommend.
