This must have been the nicest guesthouse of my entire four week trip on Sri Lanka. Not only is the room beautiful and spacious, the owners Madhu and Sanjee make you feel like you're staying with friends. They are so welcoming and they go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. In addition, the food was delicious.

Wow what a great Homestay, location, price, accommodation, the property, wildlife all amazing not to mention the host Mahinde along with his family. Nothing was to much trouble, always there to answer questions or assist with anything. Lovely area outside room as well as outside eating area we enjoyed so much, felt like we were far from everything but really so close. So grateful to stay at this homestay, one of our favourites, highly recommend.

A really nice family! We have eaten the best rice and curry here and Rohan is the best guide in the search of elephants. He will do anything for the best place nearby the elephants. The place is nearby the Main Street with other bars, restaurants and cafe’s. But you must eat here at least one night! Don’t fall for the Elephant riding scam in Sigiriya city.

Roy has created the most amazing hostel in Sigiryia. Located in a beautiful, serene, lush setting amoung rice paddies, the Villa is immaculately clean and maintained. Unique, spacious dorms with comfortable beds and thoughtfully designed bathrooms. Common areas that bring people together and promote a community of like-minded travellers. Roy and his staff lead, and can help arrange, a variety of activities. Food offerings are fresh and delicious, with a set family dinner every evening. Be sure to join one of Ray’s cooking classes to learn all his secrets. I cannot say enough about Roy’s Villa, it will bring me back to Sri Lanka.

We were really impressed with this guest house. The owner, Ashoka, went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable. He was very personable and the service was great. We also enjoyed the dinner and breakfast we had. I’d really recommend staying here!

A fantastic place to experience the beauty of Sigiriya. Been travelling big parts of the world and this has to be the most sweet and friendly host I’ve ever had. Him and his family helped us a lot planning and arranging our adventures in Sigiriya. His whole family was super welcoming and helpful. We asked to see the local area and his father drove us around the local area in his TukTuk and showed us many interesting things and views. We paid only 2000 lkr. The place has the perfect and stunning view of the Lion Rock. Nice breakfast and super tasteful dinner along with plenty of water bottles during our stay.
