Probably the best holiday destination I’ve ever visited. Dave and his staff have served us with delicious food with home made cake and his signature dishes. Also we've been privileged to taste Dave’s Artisan Teas and experience the Tea making process. Beautiful surrounding with excellent misty weather. The Breakfast was exceptional. Sri Lankan favourite string hoppers and the Freshest fruits with Dave's homemade Marmalade and Jams. The best Curd I've ever had. Oh I love the coffee Dave offered!! Super clean rooms and awesome library room with lots of splendid books. Oh we miss Charley so badly.. adorable companion.. :) I would give my highest recommendation and I will definitely visit again! thank you David and the awesome team!

Situated in Matale, Palapathwela Ross Estate Junction , The Inn at Matale" provides comfortable accommodation for local and foreign travelers alike. Everything was great, especially the cappuccino ! Thanx that we were allowed to leave our bicycles in the lobby during the night.

Plantation Retreat is tucked away in Kandy, just 400 metres from Patanpaha Bus Stand. It welcomes guests with an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi access. Sarath and his family are the most welcoming and amiable hosts we had on our journey in Sri Lanka. The lodging is on top of a hill and inside a plantation so you are all surrounded by beautiful nature. As part of the plantation Sarath and his family are growing their own coffee and spices from which Sarath's wife cooked a most delicious breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed our stay at Plantation Retreat very much and will never forget the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We can very much recommend a stay here.

One of the most memorable stays on our trip. The staff’s kindness and generosity truly is above and beyond. The place itself is incredible comfortable and beautiful and the food is delicious! Featuring pool with a view, garden and views of mountain, Cottage 2010 is situated in Matale, 17 km from Sri Dalada Maligawa. I stayed here today with my friends. I booked the hotel for them and we traveled by car. So there was enough space for vehicles. You will get many facilities during your stay. Staff is 100% polite. Kitchen and equipment provided even they have a full board menu. Room was clean and equipped with everything we wanted. Night ambiance is awesome and the best of the best is the amazing pool. We stayed at the pool until 11 PM night since we couldn't leave the pool that was cool. Pool lights , clean water and the pool is covered from the garden fence so privacy around pool was enough for the girls. The person who catered us was very polite and very supportive. Even provided a mobile phone to contact room service.

Boasting mountain views, Paradise Forest Garden features accommodation with an infinity pool and a balcony, around 35 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. I had a delightful stay. The room was lovely and views fantastic. What really made the stay were the staff. I stayed half board and the cook made fabulous food - the best I've had in Sri Lanka and the portions were huge! The manager was also great, picked me up from train, dropped me off at bus station and made sure I got on the right bus. And lovely Santi, waitress/cleaner was full of smiles . I am a solo female and I felt looked after by these lovely people. I 100% recommend and Id definitely return.
