Tony is amazing, can speak great English and he gave us lot of great tips, not only for Jaffna but for the rest of our trip in Sri Lanka. He is super nice and will let you feel like at home.

Where do I even begin… Anathan’s place was an oasis, a safe haven for me after I spent a few days in the hectic and chaotic Colombo. From the very first moment that I arrived to the very last minute that I left, I always felt taken care of, spoiled almost, and above everything, I felt at home. In fact, Anathan’s place was so comfortable, so peaceful that it felt almost difficult to get out and explore the town. Obviously a home isn’t a home without its host. And for that, I have to thank Ananthan for going above and beyond to provide me with a comfortable stay. He always made sure that I had enough for breakfast, always asked if I wanted more tea and coffee (and yes, please), and even brought me along to the ceremonies at the Nallur temple where his family and friends were also there, welcoming me with unparalleled warmth and hospitality. Even though I was a solo traveller, I had never felt lonely during the entire stay. Ananthan was always there should I need anything. It brought me great joy and peace just to sit by the patio and listen to the singing of the birds and the rustling of the trees. I was sad that I could not stay longer. And I’d return, time and again.

Berty was a very amicable, courteous host in his home. Right from the start he helped in arranging pick up from the airport & a warm welcome at his place. Room was simple but quiet, clean and comfortable. Location excellent. Breakfast was fresh and well prepared. He also helped in organising tours around Jaffna and taxi service to Colombo. If you are looking for simple yet comfortable homestay in Jaffna, Berty Cottage is a gem of a place sure to satisfy most guests.

Location is just perfect. Town is 2 mints walking distance. Great Villa and beautiful. Rooms are beautiful, cleaned and comfy. Helpful staff. Jaffna style foods are delicious. I really liked that the room service. The parking was easy. The food was fantastic and very fast to arrive. It is the best place to stay in Jaffna

Nallur Holidays Inn asub Jaffnas ning pakub ainult täiskasvanutele mõeldud majutust koos vabaõhuvanni ja ühise puhkeruumiga. The staff was really friendly, the lady working there helped us with everything and was very considerate. There are a lot of sitting areas where I could study and not be bothered by the noise from the city. We ended up staying longer than our booking and this was not a problem.
