The view and location are exceptional. It's directly at the beach and there are palm trees right at the property. Also, Viraj offered to prepare breakfast for us. You should definitely go with the Sri Lankan style breakfast. Each day we got something different (eg. egg hoppers, string hoppers, dal, some kind of coconut milk rice and more). And a fresh fruit platter was part of it each day. Viraj and his family are very kind and helpful people. They will make your stay unforgettable.

Located just less than 1 km from Hikkaduwa Beach, Guruge villa offers accommodation in Hikkaduwa with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. A genuinely friendly guy named Guruge owns this homestay. The villa seems like it's in the jungle, but it's very close to the bus and train stations. I just spent a week relaxing at the nearby beach, biking around Hikkaduwa, and preparing simple meals in the villa's kitchen. The managers really make you feel welcomed. Waking up to the dawn chorus of exotic birds in the surrounding trees is one thing I'll remember, along with relaxing on the veranda with a good book (more often, with my phone). So glad I could take time off to get over busy days of traveling.

STUTHI VILLA is situated in Ahangama and has a pool with a view and pool views. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Everything was amazing. The place itself is very calm and good to relax, with a beautiful garden and pool area. The bedroom was very comfortable and well kept. The Sri lankan breakfast was really tasty, we loved it. And a special shout-out to Asanka, who was very welcoming and did everything for us to have a really nice stay. Thank you!

Very beautiful property in the heart of Galle! We got upgraded to a Deluxe room on arrival. True taste of past colonial times. You would be a fool not to book there!

An amazing quiet place with lots of beautiful birds around. You can watch them taking their bath every afternoon. The owner was so kind and helpful. The beach was reachable by 10 -15 min walk. I would definitely come back again . You will enjoy this place a lot if you like the nature.

Susanna and Tusharo (please excuse me if I’m misspelling the names :) were wonderful hosts. Welcoming and informative. It really felt like our own house. Spotless clean, equipped with everything a traveler needs, beautiful nature around, a garden well kept. Another great thing is the hosts really care about animals and Tusharo shared fascinating information about the connection local people share with the sea turtles (we got lucky and swam with them). The beach has some great surf. Would love to come back and stay more.

Sailors' Bay is located on the seafront in Hikkaduwa, a few steps from Narigama beach and 1.2 km from Dodanduwa Beach. The air-conditioned accommodation is 2 km from Rathgama Beach. We loved the location! directly at the beach but far enough away from the touristy areas. The owner was incredibly nice and even organized a very cheap scooter for us. Rooms had everything we needed and were super clean.
