Welcome drink was very good. Breakfast was amazing. Location was top and close to the bars, restaurants and the beach. Room was very authentic and cozy with very good AC.

Located just less than 1 km from Hikkaduwa Beach, Guruge villa offers accommodation in Hikkaduwa with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. A genuinely friendly guy named Guruge owns this homestay. The villa seems like it's in the jungle, but it's very close to the bus and train stations. I just spent a week relaxing at the nearby beach, biking around Hikkaduwa, and preparing simple meals in the villa's kitchen. The managers really make you feel welcomed. Waking up to the dawn chorus of exotic birds in the surrounding trees is one thing I'll remember, along with relaxing on the veranda with a good book (more often, with my phone). So glad I could take time off to get over busy days of traveling.

STUTHI VILLA is situated in Ahangama and has a pool with a view and pool views. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Everything was amazing. The place itself is very calm and good to relax, with a beautiful garden and pool area. The bedroom was very comfortable and well kept. The Sri lankan breakfast was really tasty, we loved it. And a special shout-out to Asanka, who was very welcoming and did everything for us to have a really nice stay. Thank you!

I would definitely come back again . You will enjoy this place a lot if you like the nature.

Susanna and Tusharo (please excuse me if I’m misspelling the names :) were wonderful hosts. Welcoming and informative. It really felt like our own house. Spotless clean, equipped with everything a traveler needs, beautiful nature around, a garden well kept. Another great thing is the hosts really care about animals and Tusharo shared fascinating information about the connection local people share with the sea turtles (we got lucky and swam with them). The beach has some great surf. Would love to come back and stay more.

Adorable owners. Really friendly. Room at the very quiet beach. Paradise sunsets with a glass of white wine. All you need to relax. Super, Super, breakfast. Took some kilos eating it all.
