She showed us places where we could eat and gave us a map with the bus timetable. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfy. I think it was my best sleep in any hotel I have ever stayed in. There is also an electric heater under the futon, if you need one. Just like other reviewers mentioned, In the morning we were given a breakfast that was not included in the price. It contained meat, bread, multiple vegetables and fruits. Again, the best breakfast I ever had.

The attention from the host was really great, he even gave us some some recommendations. The place is really nice and has a good location. If you go by public transportation really make sure about the bus schedule, we almost lost the last bus.

The B&B owner was most friendly, he helped us with planning our activities in Nikko and he makes the most delicious breakfasts. The B&B was located a bit outside Nikko but the owner picked us up with the car. Also in the B&B itself, everything was well arranged. Good room and all the facilities were there. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Nikko very much!

Located in Nikko, 2.1 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Sanga Nikko provides rooms with free WiFi access. The property is set 10 km from Kegon Falls and 22 km from Nikkō-kokuritsu-kōen. Yoshi the host was very helpful and friendly. He went out and bought some medicine for my nephew who was sick from the pharmacy. All he asked was we write him a good review, which I would have done anyways regardless. We were the only people there our first night. It was close to the supermarket and fairly close to the train station. I have no regrets about choosing this place. Yoshi runs an excellent guest house. This is only place I've been to where the owner also runs a photography studio, I wasn't interested but it looked like he did good work. (We were there in December so I don't know what it is like at other times of year.)

The room was impeccable and fully equipped with appliances and kitchen equipment, We were able to buy some premade mean from the nearby supermarket and use the microwave there to heat up our food.

The star is the onsen - there are 2 onsen rooms in a separate building outside with a maple tree on the walk out. There is a clever light system that allows you to know when the onsens are in use by other guests - plenty of time to be able to use. The onsen rooms are beautifully built and were such a delight to use - there was a private outside space for one of them as well. As the onsens are private, it is fine for people with tattoos to use. There is a large communal area where you have breakfast and can also relax and prepare other meals. Hot and cold water available as well as microwaves and toaster for preparing meals. There is a lovely children's play area as well. Breakfast is served in the morning with a choice of different pastries and drinks that you order the night before. The owner is very accommodating and friendly. Good location - 10 minutes by bus from Tobu Nikko station, 5 minutes by bus to the shrines, temples and Shinyko bridge, 5 minute walk to Daiyu river and about 30-40 minutes by bus to Lake Chuzenji. The beds were comfortable and there was good amount of space for storage in the rooms. Table, chairs and TV in each room.
