Shree Krishna Bhakti Ashram er nýlega enduruppgert gistihús í Vrindāvan þar sem gestir geta nýtt sér garðinn og sameiginlegu setustofuna. I write this review from a specific perspective — I had arrived in Vrindavan with a group but then stayed a few days on my own. I have been to Vrindavan previously but I was a little nervous about staying solo as a western woman… Vraja can present some challenges for us in regards to attracting attention, even if you are an experienced devotee. I usually stay at MVT so I can walk directly to ISKCON by myself, but it was full and I am SO GLAD I found Shree Krishna Bhakti Ashram instead! It perfectly threads the needle between having comfortable rooms and being peaceful and still in the center of Vrindavan, with the real spirit of Vrindavan and not like some of the newer developments. “Ashram” conjures up thoughts of austerities — and on the same trip I stayed alone in a Math that I couldn’t handle alone… but the rooms here are incredibly comfortable and provide things that seem luxurious in an ashram, especially for the price. I had a king-sized bed with comfortable mattresses, multiple pillows, and duvets — no fuzzy brown blankets … A wardrobe, a table and chairs for sitting, a KETTLE and tea/coffee cups with some hot drink packets and even digestive biscuits!!! Also an amazing ceiling fan, real towels in the washroom, a shower head providing hot water with water pressure instead of a bucket… etc. There’s even a TV with cable, I believe, but I did not get a chance to use it. there’s also an enclosed colonial-style veranda looking out onto a lawn which is a peaceful place to enjoy your beverage. The ashram features a small temple in the back which seems to offer small aartis daily, but this really seemed like more of a guest house than a residential ashram. anyways here is why you should choose this place as a solo woman — there is always security and the staff are AMAZING and super helpful! I booked specifically based on other Booking reviews that expressed this.

Alibaba’s Indiana Homestay er staðsett á besta stað í Tājganj og býður upp á loftkæld herbergi með ókeypis WiFi, ókeypis einkabílastæði og herbergisþjónustu. All of the staffs are friendly. One of them can speak my language. That makes us easier to stay there.

Welcomed us and helped with all we need, fair and honest. Room was very clean and everything was perfekt. We definetly recommend this place and we will visit again for sure. Our stay here was probably the best we had in India! Sona and her family were so nice to spend time with (her son is an excellent artist), the room was great - clean and comfortable with a fridge and storage space for bags - there is a nice roof to look over varanasi, and Sona can help with travel/tours/food/laundry and pretty much anything you need. Her cooking is also fantastic as is her chai! It's also in a great location by Assi Ghat which has lots of street vendors, restaurants etc. We will definitely return here if we visit Varanasi again
