The rooms are larger than we expected, and very comfortable. The 20-minute walk to the Old City goes through a lovely series of gardens, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. However, what's most remarkable about this place is the owners: Alon and Rav treated us like family. It was really like staying with caring friends (who never get tired of having you around!). The breakfasts were great, and Alon was always ready with tourism advice, restaurants tips, and historic information. We were going to Jordan, and he hooked me up with his brother, who just returned from there and gave us lots of pointers. And we forgot something there, which he made sure got to his sister's place in Tel Aviv, where we picked it up a couple of days later. C'mon! Where else do you get family-style service like that?! Stay at the Templer Inn if you're going to Jerusalem!
