Located in an old cobbled street in Zihron Ya'akov's pedestrian area, the Smadar-Inn offers a heated indoor swimming pool. All suites overlook the gardens. Breakfast is included. The location was amazing, right in the centre by the pedestrianised area and all the restaurants and shops yet set back from the street. The four very spacious rooms are set in a courtyard amongst olive and oak trees. the pool was a bonus with very warm water. We were served fresh, wholesome food at breakfast including eggs of your choice. The host and hostess were welcoming and made us feel at home. A complimentary bottle of wine, snacks and chocolates were much appreciated and especially the fresh milk in the fridge which is unheard of in Israel!

First and foremost Levon the host is the best host we ever had! He was kind, always available and very generous. The room was spotless and luxurious with a Nespresso coffee machine (including capsules), a large minifridge and a smart TV! The bed was extremely comfortable and the surrounding area was quiet. The hotel is just a few steps away from the german colony and has a lot of parking nearby. We had trouble with the water temperature in the shower at 00:15am, I wasn't sure Levon was awake so I sent him a whatsapp message and he immediately answered. In less than 5 minutes we had scorching hot water😅 I also proposed to my partner in my room and Levon was very forthcoming and accomidating with my needs! Definitely a trip to remember! You can pick golden suite knowing you made the right choice and are in good hands!
