The property has been sympathetically renovated after a fire in 2020. it still has a wonderful pub ‘feel’ but the rooms are tasteful and (without exaggerating) one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. I could not see a cobweb or mark anywhere. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was wonderfully appointed for the price with a nespresso machine and a great range of tea and coffee. Again, I’ve stayed in more expensive properties that don’t have this.

Don't know why it is stated no wifi. We could pick the pub fest wifi in our room also every room has it's own personal wifi connection

We needed a place to stop for the night halfway through a long drive, and Picket Post House provided everything we could have wanted. The house itself is wonderful, with beautiful garden grounds. We splurged on the cooked breakfast, which was excellent, although the continental breakfast would have filled us up on its own. The hostess even went out of her way to find some gluten free bread for us. Highly recommended.

Only not so good is the possibility to park close to the property but it work well for us after all. Will def come back.

Foxhill Fold menyediakan pemandangan gunung dan WiFi gratis di Gisburn, 34 km dari King George's Hall dan 45 km dari Victoria Theatre. We were made to feel very welcome here. The breakfast was amazing, rooms were very clean and our hosts were warm and very knowledgeable. Would stay again!
