Great location, very close to the historic district and most of the major attractions. The staff was very accommodating and communicating in English was never a problem. Very quiet nights, and plenty of very hot water. The view from the terrace makes it very clear how this hostel got its name. I highly recommend this facility, and I plan to return here later this year.

This place is a little oasis in Cuenca, well located at walking distance from the historical center. Everything was perfect: the warm welcome by Franco and his wife, the wonderful coffee, the spacious and clean room with terrasse and kitchenette. Very good breakfast and attentive to special dietary needs. It’s a real gem in Cuenca. We highly recommend it and would definitely go back! Grazie Franco!

I didn't take breakfast there except once and it was very good. The little cottage was comfortable with a large kitchen and a nice mattress. The bathroom was fine. Occasionally had hot water issues but they were very responsive. The location is feet from a lovely river and the walking path went by an ancient Inca village. The owners were very nice and helpful and even picked me up at the airport and took me to a doctor's appointment. Everyone was lovely.
