Simple self check-in but staff present in the mornings. 5-10 minutes walk to the harbour, the ferry, the shops or the restaurants. Or the best bathing place.. The place, the light, the air. Difficult to top.

Tanggården Skoven is an exceptionally well renovated building with over 300 years of history. The roofing is made up of over 90 tonnes of seaweed, a unique building style to the island and shortlisted to become a UNESCO heritage. Peter and Lillian who run the place are forthcoming and very helpful. They will happily share stories about the island. The homemade breakfast was delicious.

The owners (the staff 😉) were extremely friendly. The location is perfect. Close to everything and perfect base to explore the Island by bike. The kitchen was big enough for all of us to enjoy our breakfast and the evenings all together. There was even a shack for our bicycles
