I stayed at Shanka's a whole week just because I found it hard to leave! :) Everything was lovely, from the garden with great places to hang out, through the beautiful huge bedroom, to the best breakfasts I've had! Oh, and she also makes delicious cakes!!! Shanka really spoiled me & went out of her way to make sure I had the best time staying there - including watching a movie one evening, & helping me out with tips for my journey. So, who would want to leave such a garden of paradise? 🤗

Amazing manager at the restaurant Jamal who saved the buffet for us when we checked in later in the day. Was a very welcoming gesture for us. Place is quiet and was suitable for us because we had already been to other resorts and explored Zanzibar and we needed some days to relax before we head back home. Rooms are tidy and the house keeping team is amazing, the gym is very nice too.

Beautiful property as well. Easy access to private beach and great sunset view . It was our anniversary and they organised romantic dinner around the beach which was extraordinary. Food is amazing even for vegetarian or vegan. They have turtle nursery and Masai village experience for free, so don’t have to pay to experience it outside.
