Situated within 1.8 km of The Bridge of the River Kwai and 2.1 km of The Jeath War Museum, Siam Guesthouse provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kanchanaburi.

It was authentic and clean. There are two night markets in walking distance and there are temples right across it. The breakfast was yummy too. We would go there again.

Offering a non-smoking property, Jim Guest House provides an on-site a la carte restaurant serving Thai food.

Jim and her daughter Kate are very generous and helpful hosts. The whole property is clean and beautiful. The rooms were small but comfortable. The swimming pool was clean. They even served us breakfast early at 6am when we needed to leave at 6:30am for hiking. They helped us with bookings whenever we wanted and the rates were reasonable. Overall it was amazing to stay there.

Set amidst rural landscapes, Ban Sabai Sabai offers the experience of living in a Thai village. Just 5 minutes’ walk from River Kwai, it features a restaurant and free Wi-Fi.

We stayed for three days in this little paradise. Lovely room in a lovely garden with lovely people. They speak quite good English and are very willing to help with anything. Every day after sightseeing we were glad to get back "home" and have a beer on our balcony overlooking the garden and listering to the birds in the jungle next to us. Comfortable beds, good working showers, aircom. They even made breakfast en cooked dinner for us, (although that's not in the deal!) and took us to the station. A lovely place for peace, quiet and beauty.

Canaan Guesthouse is a 3-minute walk from Kanchanaburi Bus Terminal. It offers clean and comfortable rooms with free Wi-Fi. The property features a tour desk.

Joy and Fa are wonderful and hardworking people. They run a very clean and comfortable guesthouse. So close to the bus terminal and places to eat. Joy helped me with the paperwork for my visa extension at the Kanchanaburi immigration which is so so much easier to do here than in Bangkok. You can rent a bike and do your laundry here for great price. The river Kwai Bridge is close by and the Erawan National Park and waterfall is amazing. Thank you very much Canaan Guesthouse for everything. A wonderful time here.

Quiet location set back from the street but walking distance to sights... Thai-Burma railway about 5 mins and rail Bridge over River Kwai about 30min walk. Rooms very clean, spacious and comfortable. Our host let us keep our bags in storage there on the day we departed so we could sightsee without our bags as our train left late afternoon.

This place is so special - it simply eases your stress as soon as you arrive. The accomodation is simple, spacious, clean and in nature. The tea house that serves breakfast is situated by a river and has such a peaceful atmosphere that it is hard to peel away from it after breakfast. The owner and the staff are genuinely caring anf responsive. This place left an indelible mark in our vacation memories. Please go there and be touched by the serene atmosphere.

We didn't meet host, but we contacted through WhatsApp and it was okay. Self check-in and -out instructions were clearly provided. Conveniently located, no far from bus or train station. Room was very big and it was comfortable. AC worked well.
