Housed in a traditional stone-built property, the 19th-century Casa do Comendador offers modern-style rooms in São Miguel Arcanjo village, Pico Island. It offers a panoramic balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Rooms at Comendador are bright and modern in style. All rooms have a private bathroom with free toiletries, and some have a sea view balcony. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property.

The view was great. The staff was very helpful. Good continental breakfast (very tasty freshly baked bread every morning), easy parking, friendly and purry tomcat.

All units comprise a seating area with a sofa, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchenette with various cooking facilities, including a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave and a toaster. With a private bathroom fitted with a bidet and a hair dryer, units at the guest house also boast free WiFi, while some rooms include a terrace. At the guest house, each unit has bed linen and towels.

House has a nice terrace and garden, a fireplace, well equipped kitchen, washing machine, AC, big bathroom and comfort bed. Communication with owner was always easy as well as the check-in (in time we asked, not just 16-17:)) We spent our honeymoon there and they prepared nice surprise for us! Thank you again for it. Location is perfect if you have a car - it's near the road from mountains and also on the road around the island.

Nice and helpful host lives next door but the place still feels private. Kitchen was well equipped. I worked part of my stay and WiFi was perfect throughout!! Awesome location if you want to dive with the great dive shop down the street and everything is easy to reach by car, supermarket even by foot. Really loved the place, except for the sleeping arrangements.
