Hosts were very kind, room was big, clean and with AC! Breakfast was amazing. A 5 mins walk to the centre. Definitely recommend this place if you're stopping by Granada!

Everything about Casa Bubu is amazing! If you are looking for a serene place to stay in Granada that is central but a little bit away from the noisy streets, Casa Bubu is your best bet. The hotel is immaculately designed with great attention to detail and lots of beautiful plants and trees in the courtyard around the refreshing swimming pool. The rooms are large, stylish, clean and very comfortable with all the amenities you need (safe, air conditioning, hot water, bottled water upon arrival etc). Perfect place to relax by the pool after a day of walking around the city or a day trip to the surrounding activities. The owner, Yves, is always there to assist you with anything you need and is really a 5 star host. The breakfast is truly exceptional and a perfect way to start the day. Includes several courses: eggs and toast, crepe with homemade jam and honey or granola, fresh fruit bowl, and of course tea/coffee and fresh juice. Everything was delicious! And to top it off, the hotel is pet friendly :)

This is a nice place to stay while in Grenada. The rooms are basic but comfortable. Nice courtyard and places to sit. A nice kitchen can be shared. They serve a nice breakfast in the morning. The staff is very nice. Carlos the owner is a very nice guy that patiently answered all of my questions. He brought us on a tour of the city in his car. Nice. All in all a very nice stay.

I was very happy to come back to this charming place. I came here already in August for 2 days. The location is great, just a few blocks from the downtown area in a very relaxed neighborhood. The cabins are simple and lovely. It is not like a normal hostel. It is more like a little co-living village. If you look for party crowds, this is not your spot. But if you need a relaxed place to stay, chill, work, cook, live and relax, you could easily stay here a couple of months. Lorena, the owner, was very helpful with organizing tours. For me the value for money was once again excellent. I'm looking forward to come back!

This was by far our favorite accommodation in Nicaragua and we stayed in very nice places throughout our trip! The property manager, Esther, is incredibly kind a gracious and meeting her was a highlight of our time in Granada. This property is even better than the pictures depict. Casa Cubana is well equipped with large bathrooms, hot water (the only accommodation we had with a hot shower in Nicaragua), comfortable beds, and well-working Air Conditioning units in each bedroom. We are definitely hoping to return to Nicaragua and when we do, we will spend much more time in Granada and make it our base for exploring the country. Definitely stay here if you see any availability! We will try to be back!

Where to start? First of all, Gerry and his team are so friendly and helpful that we didn't really want to leave. They helped us with tours and shuttles, all for lower prices than we had expected. Breakfast is fantastic, presuming you like a mountain of fresh fruit, endless delicious coffee and of course Gerry's seemingly endless supply of home made pancakes with syrup and chocolate sauce. I think we put on weight in three days!! WiFi was good. The room was comfortable (including a/c, a mirror, clothes hangers and bedside tables!) and spacious. Location-wise you really couldn't ask for better.

Price/quality wise = 10! -Comfortable bed with curtains + personal fan + socket + lockers for valuables -Dorm spacious enough -Ensuite bathroom in the dorm with toilet & shower (coldish, but was ok in the hot climate over there) +Enough other toilets+showers available outside the dorm -WiFi mostly worked ok for me (also in the dorm, but better outside), but was spotty at times -Nice outside/patio area with lots of places to sit/hang out -One block from the Main Plaza and the bus stop to Managua. Restaurants, supermarket, market and shops all nearby -Tours available for good prices -Free drinking water+coffee -Even breakfast included in the price -Very friendly and helpful staff: Maria and all the others❤️
