Welcome drink was very good. Breakfast was amazing. Location was top and close to the bars, restaurants and the beach. Room was very authentic and cozy with very good AC.

One of the best places I've stayed. The family was super nice, the breakfast was huge and with variety, the room was very clean and comfy. It's in the main road away from the tourist center and the swimming pool it's just wicked. I would definetly come back. Also ask the owner (the father) for the special prawns dinner. The place was very clean and well maintained. It was located around 10min walk from the beach, in a jungle. The only problem was very bad reception and super slow WiFi, but if you sat closer to the router it worked well. The typical breakfast of eggs, toast and fruits was included. The hosts were amazing, they upgraded our room without additional payment. What is more, they helped me when I needed charger after mine broke.

Loved everything about it - the place, the room, the food, the hospitality. The place - Quiet location just a few minutes away from the beach. A beautiful and well built home with beautiful architecture and rustic furniture. The room - Large and spacious with a quaint balcony overlooking the garden. Hardwood floors in the bathroom was a lovely change. Very clean as well. The food - Authentic Sri Lankan and some of the best Italian food we’ve ever had. We had dinner there every night cos we just wanted to have more. We had lasagna ala Pomodoro, spaghetti Putanesca, prawns flambé and a 5-dish Sri Lanka rice and curry meal. Things like the quality of the bread and butter served for breakfast did not go unnoticed. Big portions of the freshest fruit at every meal! The hospitality - Piyal, the gentleman who has managed Dream House for 25 years, was amazing. Such a wonderful host who was generous with his time. Had a wonderful time talking and hearing his stories. He also arranged our whale watching morning :) Would’ve stayed longer if we could. Very highly recommended!!

This was our first stop in sri lanka and I can say it was my favourite one. I regret we didn’t stay longer. We were welcomed with a fresh fruit juice. The room was exceptional (way better than on the pictures!) very bright, clean and the “outside” bathroom was absolutely amazing! The big balcony with view on the garden was so relaxing and has a comfy sofa to drink your coffee in the morning. Very good breakfast. The most peaceful place in Unawatuna. Like an oasis. Perfectly located in front of Unawatuna beach. The staff was the greatest and most helpful! (Especially the manager!) They also helped us find a scooter which was great. We hope to come back very soon!
