Really loved The Crown at Benson & it certainly exceeded our expectations as I don't think the photos online really do it justice as the place is much nicer in the flesh. We were hiking the Thames Path and this was one of the villages on route. The staff & owners are lovely - really warm & welcoming - the rooms were fab and even though the bathroom was small they seemed to make good use of space and for only 1 night, it was fine. Breakfast was very good too - all freshly cooked & good quality ingredients. The owners really care about this small hotel / pub & it certainly shows - thank you!
