The location is great, out in the countryside and so peaceful!! Our host Fiona really took time out to make us welcome and even provided a high tea when we arrived. Breakfast was all we could expect and the room also has a great view across the countryside. Our bedroom was well appointed and the bed itself was great. As a result, we had the best nights sleep for days.

Nothing was a bother, putting our things in her fridge, providing water bottles daily, refilling tea bags & biscuits daily. Oronsay was in a perfect position to explore not only Alnwick but the surrounding areas. Alnwick is a beautiful market town with lots to see & do.

The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was comfortable, spotlessly clean and thoughtfully done with extras such as dressing gowns and all bathroom toiletries. Location perfect for the town and the castle so car not required unless wanting to go further out. Lovely cooked breakfasts although a full choice offered if cereals etc are preferred Would highly recommend
