Had a fantastic stay. The 1 bedroom apartment was very spacious, well equipped, new, modern, and spotless. Close to all shops and restaurants and historic buildings. The bed is large, very comfortable, and has good linen. The hospitality is on another level - from the communication to the welcoming, personal touches, spoils, and personal care. You must experience this for yourself, so happy we stayed for 8 days. I wish the hosts well, you're doing a great job!

Vila Emigrante has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Capelas, 6.9 km from Pico do Carvao. The air-conditioned accommodation is 15 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon. The attitude of the staff was exceptional, lots of towels, large refrigerator, wide parking place, quiet place, close to grocery shop and some good restaurants. Due to steep reljef it is better to use car to reach town centre.

We had an exceptional stay at Casa da Galeria. The staff were a real delight and very welcoming, the service of a palace, no less! We read that the breakfast was excellent and had high expectations that were not only met but exceded. Now let's talk about the architecture and the art, everything in every nook and corners were of such good taste, everything was pleasing to look at. If you hesitate, don't! Gorgeous setting, all the sliding doors from the bedroom, sitting room and balcony open for beautiful views. Note the setting could be noisy with foot traffic - we didn’t mind, but people come to swim and fish outside your balcony.

Views were beautiful, very clean and modern apartment. Hosts went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Hosts were easy to access.

We literally have no words to describe how wonderful the accomodation was. Starting with the first impression of the venue, welcome package, ameneties and then the comprehensive messages about all the things to do in Sao Miguel and then all the good restaurants by city. Whenever we had a question, we received a detailed answer and all was perfect. We felt like home with a good advice local on our side. Strongly recommend this location.
