Crowsnest Apartments offers self-contained apartments overlooking Mercury Bay, just a 2-minute walk from Whitianga town centre. The rooftop sun terrace features 360-degree views of Whitianga. Spacious clean and comfortable modern apartment had everything we needed and more. We were upgraded to a 2 level apartment which was just lovely. Located close to town and beach, bonus great restaurant on the corner. Hosts have amazing communication, before and after our stay, and we felt as though we were really valued guests. The weather turned nasty while we were there, but it didn't matter cause the apartment was so nice we didn't mind staying in.

Set in Coromandel Town, within 2.1 km of Driving Creek Railway and Potteries, Fern Lodge Coromandel offers accommodation with air conditioning. The property has garden and inner courtyard views. Loved being surrounded by native bush, but with a view of the sea, hearing the native birds and the peacefulness which made sleeping in bliss!! :-)

Located in Tairua and only 1.8 km from Pauanui Beach, The Boat House Studio provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Elegant separate unit with very nice touches. Vert tastefully done and owner was very helpful.

Providing garden views and located on the beachfront, Two Bare Feet in Waihi Beach provides accommodation, free bikes, a garden, water sports facilities and a tennis court. The hosts were great, very attentive and yet left me alone to enjoy the amazing facilities and location. Free bike hire, great food recommendations and advise for day trips. Thanks to the hosts and how perfect my stay was, this is now one of my favourite corners of New Zealand and I will return again for sure.

Just a minutes’ walk from the golden sands of Pauanui Beach, Ocean Breeze Resort boasts a seasonal outdoor pool and a steamy hot tub. Very nice stay. I don’t think there was one thing the apartment didn’t have! Hosts were lovely and very helpful indeed. Very close to the beach for nice walk. There isn’t too much in town (if you don’t get your food by 8pm you’re not eating anything) but the apartment had a great BBQ so the best thing to do is bring your food and drink and cook it there. We did that and it was great. Would definitely go back again!

Offering a terrace with sea views, this self-contained studio apartment is just a 5-minute walk from a variety of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops in Waihi Beach. We have never stayed anywhere with so much thought gone into all the little extras. Lovely welcoming people.
