There is also a big garden with lots of space to hang out or have a campfire. The hosts were super quick responding to any questions and gave us lots of recommendations. Please note that the village is super small, there are two small supermarkets but no restaurants. Mobility is sort of limited by ferry schedules. This is the perfect place for those wo want to be in nature and experience life in a tiny fjord village - it’s quiet with lots of water and plenty of amazing landscape and hiking opportunities right at the doorstep. Good location to hike Preikestolen. Despite that, Stavanger is just a 50 mins drive away via a long and impressive tunnel. Tipp: Rent an electric car. There is free charging at the appartment.

We were warmly greeted by Patricia and her husband with a plate of smoked salmon which was delicious. There is a two person jet tub in the bathroom we hope to have time to try out on our next visit in 2 weeks. The radiant heat in the floors kept the temperature perfectly warm. Right outside there is a very large private deck with comfortable table and chairs to enjoy your coffee with mountains, water and the quaint village below.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Nicely heated, spacious and well equipped. Location is perfect too- less than two minutes from the airport bus stop.
