El Sail Lofts ofrece vistas al río, un restaurante y conexión wifi gratis y se encuentra en Douglas, a poca distancia de la sala de vapor Steam Packet Company, el teatro Gaiety y el Museo Manx. I travel a lot for work and stay in loads of hotels and apartments, mainly booked on Booking.com and Airbnb. Most are OK, some not great, but few are truly exceptional. The Sail Lofts are firmly in the exceptional category. The accommodation was excellent - comfortable and smartly furnished, the location was outstanding, the breakfast provided (in advance) was the best I've ever seen, and the stay was great value for money. Truly a (very rare) 10/10 for me, by far and away the best spot in Douglas that I've stayed - and there have been many!

The Cottage, Bridge House es un alojamiento con wifi gratis y vistas al río que está en Laxey, a solo 12 min a pie de Laxey Wheel. Just returned from a lovely 4 night stay at The Cottage. This is a beautifully presented quirky one bedroom cottage, perfect for the two of us. Upon arrival The Cottage was immaculate & is very well supplied with everything you need for a self catering holiday. There is instant hot water even when heating isn't on, shower has great water pressure too. There is a small private patio area off the kitchen which we didn't use during our stay but in height of summer will be a lovely place to sit. The cottage is alongside the electric railway embankment & viaduct; we believe the cottage was there long before the railway (very slight noise as the train passes, but not intrusive at all). Approx a 10 mins walk to Laxey Beach which when we were there the sun was shining & the bay was a busy & happy place. We used (for the first time) public transport into Douglas, buses were every half hour up until 10pm, then hourly (good app available to check times etc). Short walk up some slightly steep hills onto the main road where there's local shops, pubs the electric railway & where you pick up public transport. Highly recommend & would definitely look at staying here again next time we're on the island.

El Halvard Apartments at Castletown se encuentra en Castletown, a 50 metros del castillo de Rushen y a 22 km de la tribuna TT, y ofrece terraza. The accommodation was exactly as described, bigger than I'd imagined and in a beautiful setting. It was wonderfully clean and high quality with everything we could have needed including the small important things we always forget in self-catering - washing up liquid, tea towels, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets etc. Asma and Lisa could not have been more helpful or accommodating. A perfect stay, thank you so much.

The Elms Apartments Ramsey Isle of Man UK se encuentra en Ramsey, en la región de Isla de Man, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y estacionamiento privado gratis. The apartment was very nice, in a good location. David, the house host was extremely helpful. I would recommend this place and it's worth the money.

The Apartment had every amenity you could wish for, a real home from home, loved the welcome tea and coffee set up and the hot water bottles were most welcome. The views from every window were spectacular all furniture, bedding was to a high standard. The jet tub was sheer luxury 😌

El Bridge House se encuentra en Laxey, a solo 1,7 km de la playa de Laxey, y ofrece wifi gratis y estacionamiento privado gratuito. Property has all the comfort of a modern apartment, it is very spacious & on my arrival spotlessly clean. The bathroom is very well planned & the shower was easy to operate & the temperature was perfect. Bedroom very spacious & the added touch of a couple of hot water bottles was very charming, heating was more than sufficient. Location to both the local CoOp was less than a 5 min walk, bus stops only a few minutes more. Laxey wheels are only 10 minutes walk away & the harbour less than a 15 minute stroll. It is worth checking out the Manx wool mill only a short stroll from the apartment,managed to pick up some great scarves,gloves & the best pair of tweed slippers that I have ever had in my life. There is a lovely walk to visit King Orrys grave which will stretch the legs after a good breakfast. Laxey had alot to offer the seasoned walker & there are some lovely undisturbed opportunities along the old mine route, near the road bridge is a hotel & a great place to start a walk towards Ballasalla.
