Located in Huntingdon, in a historic building, 33 km from University of Cambridge, Oak-Island Hall is a recently renovated apartment with a garden and terrace. Max, the owner, was a fantastic host. The property was decorated to a high standard as we're all the fixtures and fittings, linen, curtains, and quality furniture.The bed was so luxurious and had the biggest , comfortable mattres, that gave us a fantastic nights sleep. You can definitely feel that Max has an eye for detail, and this showed in many ways. For example, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need for a short stay, and to be able to cook simple meals in the well presented and equipped kitchen. The property has French doors that open to a beautiful large garden, a fire pit / barbecue, and wonderful sounds of birds. His lovely dog Lulu, although big in size, had the sweetest temperament and made my visit special with lots of kisses and cuddles. We will definitely recommend this venue and plan to use it again when visiting locally.

Warm cosy and peaceful. View over the meadow to the Hall was perfect. The weather even allowed half an hour sat out on the decking. The host was charming and the dog really friendly.
