This was the best stay on our trip to South Africa. Absolutely everything was perfect. The location is nice and peaceful, the apartment is stunning, spacious and so tastefully decorated. Engela is such a beautiful person and the kindest most thoughtful host. The beds were incredibly comfy and the shower lovely and spacious. There were so many extra special touches like rusks and little gifts that made our stay beyond exceptional.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Clifton home and would love to stay there again in the near future. The place is super neat, spacious and the decor is beautiful. We had everything we needed and our best was the gas stove so we didn’t have to worry about loadshedding and could cook anytime which is so amazing. The patio is stunning, we had our braai there and loved it. The neighbourhood is safe, very peaceful and all the places we wanted to go to were a few minutes drive. The hosts, Bernice and Grant both have lovely hospitality skills - they made us feel at home from day 1 and provided everything we needed throughout our stay. We can’t fault the Clifton home with anything and would recommend it to anyone, any day especially couples who want to get away from all the noise and go have some peace of mind, relax and bond.

The place is beautifully appointed, a lovely, very modern kitchen equipped with everything needed to either cook up a storm for family & friends or have a quiet dinner for one! There is a very inviting & beautifully furnished under cover patio & a very well maintained braai area, making outdoor-indoor living a real pleasure. Completed by a very clean, well looked-after swimming pool, a true saviour at the end of a very hot, humid day spent working on site. Nothing more rewarding than a dip in the pool, to wash away the hardships of a difficult working day. Of course, none of the above would be possible without the brilliance of the hostess, Ms Veronica Heunes, whose intricate attention to detail is not only impressive but very rarely seen in similar accommodation. Cleanliness is paramount to Ms Heunes & absolutely exquisite, nothing is left to chance or overlooked. Impeccable linens, always fresh towels, while the place is kept to the highest standards of hygiene & cleanliness without ever seeing anyone doing the work. Everything is done quietly. with great subtlety, making sure there is no interference with the guests' schedule or resting time. All in all...SUPERB! Personally, I have found my 'home-away-from-home' when I need to visit Richards Bay. Thank you, Deja Vu, thank you Ms veronica Heunes & her staff.
