Ana is an exceptional hostess. She makes you feel very welcome and she is always ready to help in anything you need. She was very kind to welcome us with a delicious Pão de Ló (tipical Portuguese Cake). The house (2 bedroom apartment) has a beautiful pateo and it was spotless clean. Despite not been in Porto city center, its location is very close to the Cais of Gaia (very nice area to visit, with all the Port Wine Caves), which leads you easily to Porto city center and the Ribeira region (Douro banks in Porto). Plenty of free parking places in the area, which is very convenient if you have a car. Highly recommend this place.

What a find this property was! We were not sure if staying on the other side of the Douro River was the right thing to do ... but it was fantastic! We were on the top floor and had a phenomenal view from our balcony of the old historic part of Porto. How the lights shined across the water at night! Our host, Jorge, was such a gentleman and made us feel very at home. The apartment was large, quiet, clean, and everything worked! There is a dependable Italian restaurant just down the road and a food market with fresh produce about 10 minutes away. The location worked for us. Plenty of restaurants and access to tourist attractions within walking distance. We walked every day across Luis bridge or took a bus to get to other parts of the city. This property is STRONGLY recommended.

Lovely living room and kitchen, two near identical bedrooms with opening double doors to a little outside (ish) area for fresh air. We had to leave early and our hosts were wonderful - they ensured that breakfast - which was perfect - was delivered at 0715 so we could head off. Would stay every time I am in Porto in the future. It’s also a lovely quiet area, recommended above the old town for actually staying in, but a short walk to it.
