Excellent location - Fajã Grande is such a beautiful part of the island with so many hikes and waterfalls around. The apartment is a stones throw from the bathing area and several bars/restaurants whilst also feeling quiet and close to nature. I couldn’t fault my stay in any way! Nelson was the best host we had during our trip. Very friendly, helpful, communicative and he even asked us to join him on a small trip to a waterfall! There was a bottle of wine, water and a big piece of cheese waiting for use upon arrival. The apartment had all the equipement you needed. The washingmachine was useful! Location is perfect, the apartment is in a sidestreet from the main road. Stores, restaurants and and ATM were nearby. As are the startingpoints for the hikes!
