Everything was fabulous. Jean Luc and Ina were kind and gracious hosts. The property is beautiful and quiet with private parking and entrance. Coco the dog and the chickens often come to say hi throughout the day. The drive to Clonakilty is about 10 minutes. You're about 70 minutes from Cork, Kinsale, and Cobh which are easy day trips. I cooked dinner each night in the cottage and the facilities were great. Wifi was also strong. Highly recommend this cottage.

Absolutely everything you could wish for in an apartment! The most delightful host and welcome you ever encounter ! Very close to the centre of beautiful Clonakilty, made to feel at home straight away ! Cannot recommend more highly as the accommodation is more suitable for up to 4 people staying than just a solo traveller, and I fully intend to come back with a friend next time ! High quality throughout and a lovely touch in the fridge , wine milk and orange juice ! You will not want to leave! X

The loft itself seemed brand new, with everything from the furnishings to the amenities giving off a fresh and well-maintained vibe. We were particularly impressed with the well-equipped kitchen, which included basic necessities like salt, pepper, and other cooking essentials – a thoughtful addition that made our stay more convenient. Additionally, the inclusion of basic toiletries like shampoo and bath salt in the bathroom was a thoughtful touch, ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, our stay in the loft was nothing short of delightful. It provided a perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and tranquility, making it an ideal getaway. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

Booked the Strand Awaits Apartment for my friends wedding. The host was super helpful, close to the beach and a short drive from shops. Feels private even though you are on their property. Would definitely book again.
