A true hidden gem in Crete. This property is the most privileged and exclusive house in the whole Finix (Phoenix) bay. It is fully equipped with anything anyone might need, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated throughout. Edem house is a newly built comfortable vacation house with a massive front yard overlooking the beach, where one can relax, sunbathe or enjoy their breakfast. We are a family of four and the last time we visited the picturesque and tiny Foinikas bay was in 1995. We consider ourselves really lucky to have found Edem House available and our experience was unforgettable once more.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The apartment was spotless and had everything you needed for a long or short stay. We loved sitting on the balcony surrounded by the sound of goat bells, watching the sun set over the mountains! Antonia was such a lovely and welcoming host, she was very informative and arranged for a 4x4 to pick us up from the end of our Aradena Gorge hike with no problems at all - the apartment is also well situated for Loutro and Glyka Nera. The village is lovely with a few fantastic taverns, the best food of our trip. We would come back anytime.

This is a basic hotel with everything you could need. The location is perfect, right on the water next to the port and if you eat at their restaurant you receive a 10% discount. The food was really good and enjoyable. Great service too. We stayed here to break up a journey from Gavdos back to the north of Crete and it was perfect for this.

Skafia is a lovely little area near some great hiking (sweet water beach, Aradena gorge, Kakos Poros viewpoint, etc). Faros Apartments are in a great location with a nice sunset view. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. They also own a cafe in town as well as a boat ferry service. The apartment is very clean. The bathroom was large and new.
