It's definitely a great place to stay for a family wanting to spend some days in the Austrian Alps, doing some biking, discovering the great nature of the Bregenzerwald...

We came for one night - and stayed three :) The hosts are super friendly and welcoming: they recommended several local attractions, and explained how to reach them. Breakfast was delicious and nutritious: freshly made eggs and homemade food made our day! The rooms are well-spaced and very comfortable, with beautiful wooden decor and all the amenities to make a stay comfortable. The views of the Alps are breathtaking. Overall, we had a lovely time. Set in the centre of Hirschegg, Alp-Chalet is 100 metres from Heuberg Sessellift, offering apartments with a mountain-view balcony. Free WiFi is provided and free private parking is available on site.... Good location, one mintute from next bus stop. We did not need to waste money on parking because we could take buses everywhere within kleinwalsertal for free(but not oberstdorf). Apartment is well done up. Got senseo machine upon request. There is a room with many books and games for kids and adults.
