Check in was great and staff lovely overall. Breakfasts nice and the kitchen did a good job with a nice variety.

The location is wonderful, with woods and water all around, as well as a few rice paddies. We had a view of the water from our room and the restaurant. Great place to just relax.

The view was great and it felt so good to just jump into the river at every moment ! The decoration is beautiful, great attention to detail and overall nice atmosphere. The room was clean, the matress was good and every comodity was at a walking distance. The guesthouse is situated in a quiet neighborhood, close to the bus station, and you can use their bike for free to go to the main area and the city center nightlife (15-20 min walking). I met great people when we shared the included breakfast, which was good. The hostel staff was always really friendly, available and happy to help : they gave me lots of tips. Will stay there again for sure!

One of the newest places I stayed in my two weeks in Laos. Located close to the bus station. Brand new clean unit, ton of natural light & open air. Hot water/water pressure was fair. No option for breakfast, but was not an issue. There is bananas, tea & coffee at your disposal. They can arrange day trips/onward travel. One of two accommodations (in 2 wks in Laos) that communicated prior to arrival. Meexok Riverview is a quiet relaxing place to come back to in Nong Khiaw. Highly recommend. If you can snag a night, book it!

First of all the manager of the place took care of all of our needs and was so attentive I can't even express how important that is. Especially when you're out traveling in quite remote areas of the country. There is so many things the exceeded our expectations in this resort I don't even know where to start. The manager as already mentioned is a rare gem. The location is sublime! It's a short car or boat ride from the town but you find yourself in a secluded greenery overlooking the river and hills of the mountains around. Villas / rooms are humongous, well designed, clean with breathtaking view. There is a boat and car shuttle that runs quite often to bring you to and from the town which is absolutely amazing. Especially the boat is an experience in itself. The staff is super! nice, helpful and attentive. I would go back there anytime.
