This is an amazingly comfortable place to stay if you have late/early flight. The location is easily available by walk from airport/train station (straight road 20min). Opposite there is nice pub with good food and beer. The host is kindest and nicest person in the world! Finally, by train it’s just 40 min from Liverpool street London… I wish to come back!

È una località marina a un'ora di treno da Londra.
È una località marina a un'ora di treno da Londra. Il mare e la spiaggia non sono niente di che, però c'è una bella passeggiata sul pontile di oltre 2km e la camminata sul lungomare: oltrepassata la zona piuttosto banale del luna park e delle sale gioco si gode di una bella panoramica sulla zona residenziale. Adatto ad una gita di un giorno o come stop and go di ritorno da Londra.

Luogo tranquillo poco frequentato, passeggiata sul mare molto gradevole. Il pontile più lungo del mondo. Pub tipico inglese. Per chi vuole rilassarsi e ama le lunghe passeggiate. Temperatura perfetta e sempre arieggiato.

Southend è caratteristica, sembra di fare un salto ne passato... ma soppratutto è la belleza disarmante del mare che anche se piove rimane incredibilmente bello! Nelle viete trovi angoli caratteristici, locali molto originali che non ti aspetteresti. I servizi pubblici sono eccellenti

Una cittadina sul mare che sicuramente ha vissuto momenti più felici di ora. Si percepiscono i fasti di un tempo, ma oggi c'è solo un grande luna park, tanti negozi con video giochi e macchinette per giocare e il molo più lungo del mondo. Comunque osservare le maree sulla foce del Tamigi è stato bello. E siamo riusciti a trovare ottimi ristoranti anche qui. In sintesti non ci verrei apposta, ma se siete in zona, qualcosa da fare per un paio d'ore si trova.

Ci e' piaciuto il mare, il pier. l'atmosfera, la particolarita' della marea che va e viene..il paesaggio ...la comodita' di trovare buon cibo inglese e le passeggiate....
