Clean, modern room, large comfortable bed, large safe box. Free Shuttle bus from and to the airport is 5 minutes top BEWARE,if it is a busy hour (like our first flight of the day) you may have to book your seat. The hotel was very helpful on that and since the first shuttle of the day was full we were offered an off schedule shuttle bus just 10 minutes later. Breakfast starts at 4.45, but I didn't have any so I don't know what is offered.

The Holiday Inn Express Bilbao is just 5 minutes’ drive from Bilbao Airport and the hotel offers a free airport shuttle service for guests. nice, clean and modern. nice breakfast that starts early enough to catch before the first shuttle to the airport. the restaurant next door is also perfect for dinner without having to leave the hotel. however the highlight of our stay was one receptionist, Miguel. His smile made us feel welcome right away, and he really went out of his way to give us a great experience even during the short time we were there. he gave us some fabulous recommendations for getting the best views of Bilbao, which honestly gave our trip the perfect ending. thanks again Miguel! :)

We chose to stay as it was close to the airport after staying in San Sebastián, but really it would be perfect for anyone looking to visit Bilbao! the living room was perfect for us to chill out and watch a movie on our last night. The apartment is only a 10/15 min taxi from Bilbao city centre.
