The Royal Oak, just over the road does great food too. Views at the end of the road near the church are stunning on a crisp clear day, and Helmsley is within easy reach if you fancy a little potter and a cuppa. The cottage was exceptionally clean and the host was really attentive. It's clear a lot of thought has gone into this place. Would definitely recommended a visit.
