Nicolaus Hotel offers stylish rooms, free Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped wellness area with indoor pool, gym, sauna, Turkish bath and hot tub. It is in Poggiofranco, a residential area of Bari. From the minute we arrived, we were treated so well. We were able to have a delicious late dinner at the hotel restaurant which was a bonus. Breakfasts were always good with excellent service. It has to be said that ALL of the staff in every setting eg receptions, restaurant etc were professional, respectful and a pleasure to deal with.

We‘ve travelled the world, but this was one of the best hotels we‘ve ever visited. The materials are of high quality, the attention to details unique and the hospitality is just amazing. We had the room Giuva which is the highest room in the property, with a beautiful view over the whole bay. You can experience how the sun sets over the far away montain tops of Calabria while you eat your self cooked dinner (the apartment features a stove) or while you relax in the rooftop pool. We had our own grand balcony, with instant access to the rooftop terrace. There is hardly any traffic and the place is very quiet. No buzzing motors, only occasional cars commuting to the beach. The host is very friendly, dear and helpful. This place is ideal, if you want to relax and just spend some time at the beach or just have some dolce far niente in and around the apartment.

That we have booked it only for 1 night on our way from brindisi to Sicily. We should have areanged to stay more. Maybe one of the best rooms i have ever seen. Very comfortable, new and traditional in a unique combination. in a very nice small italian city. It is even better than any of the pictures in the site.
