It beat all my expectations. Now I understand why the reviews are so good! Everything is so thoughtfully done. Firstly, the shuttle is a great bonus to be picked up at the station promptly and driven a short distance to the beautiful quaint/remote location of Villanova, surrounded by greenery! The views were stunning. Then to be warmly greeted by the staff, who were beyond friendly/kind and very informative. There is even a golf buggy which dropped us off to the doorstep of our room. The room is traditional, very clean and the bed was spacious and so comfy! There is so much on offer, massages/local tours(olive oil tasting/cooking classes/yoga)/we rented e-bikes for the day to take us to the centre of town, which was a lot of fun! Also, the pool facilities are incredible, clean, tranquil and so relaxing. The photos don’t do this beautiful place justice. Then the breakfast was perfect, everything local, huge selection and lovely outdoor seating area. As you can tell, I couldn’t recommend it more and we absolutely loved our stay there!
