A excellent place to stay when visiting Plitvice National Park. A big advantage is its proximity to a little used third entrance to the Park, which is about a 15 minute walk from the Villa. Everything was super clean and the hosts were very friendly and nice. We even left something behind and the owners were kind enough to mail it to us. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty, and convenient, too, since you don't have to travel to a restaurant after a long day hiking.

We stayed in Etno Gardens to be able to access Plitvice NP. It was so easy to walk straight from the unit and into the park, in 300m. David was incredibly helpful and gave us great advice. We had dinner and breakfast there too which was delicious. I would recommend this place to my friends!

We really enjoyed the hearty simple breakfast, the location (a few minutes walk from the park), and the host (Bosco) was super helpful answering questions, offering to book dinner for us, etc. We only got to enjoy breakfast outside once (due to weather) but it was fun watching the chickens roam around doing their thing!

The property is right next to a stream and surrounded by woods - beautiful! It was super easy to enter with a lock box, and the host Georgie was helpful, present, and accommodating. He even drove us down to the main resort lodge for dinner our first night since we had arrived right around the dinner hour. You can rely on google maps to get there, but when you get closer to the cabin the roads are dirt/gravel and not clearly labeled, so be sure to drive slowly and watch the map you'll get there just fine. Yeti Cabin itself has a very clear sign. I wish we could've stayed longer!

The River House is in the perfect location to explore The National Park. It’s within walking distance of the entrance. Tony and Lucy are the most hospitable hosts and will give you all the best routes, tips, and tricks to make the most of your days. Thankfully it’s not by the main crowded entrance so you get to hit the trails before the crowds. All that aside, the host family, Lucy, Tony, and their two sweet generous kids, made our experience one of our favorite travel experiences we have ever had. The food was beautiful…fresh and local and perfectly freshly prepared each and every day. We had breakfast every morning, then packed lunches in the park, followed by dinner. They make you feel like you are in your own dinning room. Don’t forget to get a bottle of the local wine, it is 10/10. This house is perfect for families as well, both my kids said it was their “favorite place they have ever been with the nicest people they have ever met”. They have a play ground, and space to roam and be free. The rooms are very comfortable, updated, and very spacious. The patio outside was a great place to relax after a long day walking and exploring. There is a beautiful river next to the house with benches to sit and enjoy the wildflowers. What a beautiful home you have created for your guests. Thank you again Tony and Lucy. We will be back and tell all our friends to stay here!

A traditional guesthouse experience, my hosts were extremely kind and welcoming. I arrived late at night and at first they were unable to locate my reservation but made me feel right at home and set me up in a room while they worked it out. They did not speak English, but we were able to communicate just fine. For the price, comfort of facilities were as expected. Location was ideal for someone traveling with their own car. Beautiful view and a short 10 minute drive to Entrance 1, market and restaurants. Access to kitchen, wifi and outdoor patio were a must for me.

It's the best place if you want to walk Plitvice Lakes park, in my case I stayed 3 days because I like walking almost every path 😊. If you're a fast walker you can do the park in just one day but it's better to take your time, that place is dreamy. Plitvica Selo is a tiny location where you can go to the park via entrance #3 where you can avoid loooooong lines waiting.

The location is amazing.
The location is amazing. The lookout at the top of the main park waterfall is a short walk from the premises. The quiet serenity of the area is remarkable. Getting up early for a walk in the misty paths was a true treasure.
The room is truly comfortable and homely with all amenities required. Host Ante is a great cook and also shared ideas and things to do with our upcoming stays in Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik, which helps a lot in especially choosing a restaurant.
I would truly recommend this stay. It is a great location.

Plitvice Selo is just a couple of houses without any shops...
Plitvice Selo is just a couple of houses without any shops but mostly cottages/apartments for rent, but with a few restaurants. It is very close to entrance 3 (15 minutes by foot), so you do not need the car for your stay. From entrance 3 you can either walk or take the boat to the other end (included in the daily pass of the national park - book in advance!). It is a lot less touristic, but this also means you will not find many places to buy food (even inside the park) or eat in, hence a good accommodation which provides this is very helpful.

Plitvica selo is a small village right next to the P3 entrance of the Plitvice lakes. It is a quite village in nature without any stores. There are only a few places you can eat or have a drink within walking distance. For more choices you need a car. It maybe difficult to be in Plitvica selo without a car. Great place for outdoor activities such as walking, hiking and biking.

This small village was originally a dairy farming community...
This small village was originally a dairy farming community tucked away in a small glen among the mountains of Plitvice National Park. A few miles off the main highway, it is accessed by a lightly trafficked country road with occasional breathtaking views of the canyon below and the river flowing out of the Plitvice Lakes. The inns, in keeping with UNESCO rules, are the original historic farm buildings, which have been renovated on the interior. The inns are within walking distance of a lesser known and lightly used third entrance to the park, from which one can begin exploring this beautiful National Park.

Beautiful place in the heart of the beautiful lakes.
Beautiful place in the heart of the beautiful lakes. We stayed here while it was raining which did not stop us from enjoying beautiful sceneries and nature overall. We bought raincoats for decent price easily. Definitely coming back for nicer weather. Place is the heaven.
If you look up perfect host in the dictionary this is what you should find. Everything was great, the room cozy and clean, the food delicious, helpful and spot on information about the park and which route is best.
The sounding is fairytale like and the location is just near one of the less busy entrances to the park. They even went the extra mile to drive us up the mountain to do a wonderful hike through the forest down to the upper lakes.
Highly recommend, hope to come back some day in the autumn to see even more colors.
We had such a wonderful stay! Lucy and Ante are such lovely people, and they've done an amazing job with this family-run hotel. So welcoming and they really went above and beyond. Ante is an incredible cook! We chose to have the 3-course dinner both nights we stayed, because the food was so good. My husband and I would definitely stay again. Thank you both for all your warmth and such a memorable time! There are some easy routes you can take to access the national park from the hotel as well.
Beautiful and serene. Staff incredibly friendly. Got there in the evening after a long day of adventure and travel, and was so excited to find that they had beer and wine for sale. Decent dinner at another B&B was a quick walk away. Walking distance to entrance 3 which takes you directly to the boat. I had read that entrance 3 was an illegal entrance. However, there was a ranger they’re scanning tickets and we had no problem walking in. Would 100% stay here over the park hotels
The lodge is in a great location away from the main tourist areas yet only five minute walk from the park entrance. The host and staff were extremely friendly and helpful with a family atmosphere. Dinner was fabulous and we sat outside by the fire. Other restaurants and hotels are close by if you wanted to visit. Hot showers and comfy bed. Would recommend this lodge!
What an incredible location, hidden away near an unlisted 3rd entrance to Plitvice Lakes. This is a family run lodge and when you are hear, you are treated like a favorite family member. There is incredible, local cuisine available for dinner & breakfast with an extra charge. Well worth the extra cost! The AC worked super well and the bed was very comfortable!
Great location inside the park, lovely new and spacious rooms, excellent shower and they let us park the car for the day at the hotel while we visited the lakes. Like other reviewers, we also had a nice evening meal at the small restaurant of the b&b over the road. Limited menu but tasty food and friendly service.
The room was large and beautiful, and the location is great - it's just a 10 minute walk to the national park. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, both of which were good, and very convenient after a long day of walking. The hosts were very friendly and helpful
The owner of the hotel offered the best service one can have. It was a very cozy place with a country side feeling, but still really closed to the entrance. Breakfast was served at the time you wished. You could enjoy sweet and beautiful pets while eating outside.
Excellent hotel for a trip to the lakes. The cleanliness and comfort of the room was superb, with the host being extremely customer-oriented and knowledgeable of the region. Will definitely recommend the stay.
I enjoyed time at this place, really cozy and comfortable apartment, nieces workers ever. Hotel has his own good restaurant, we even didn’t try to find out others 😁 Lake’s entrance was really close
