Clean city, friendly people.
Clean city, friendly people. The Waterfront is especially lovely with its scenic walk, views, and many restaurants. Downtown and Uptown are easy to navigate and explore. Also, several sites with historic significance, such as Fort Vancouver.

Vancouver, WA is a wonderful community and a great base camp for day trips to the surrounding area. I highly recommend staying in Vancouver. Just don't stay at the Day's Inn by Wyndham. It is a dump.

So much to do in Vancouver.
So much to do in Vancouver. This property is right downtown, but drive a few minutes east, and you're in the country, rolling hills, two-lane roads, farm lands and farm stands, with just-picked produce.
There's a Stuart Anderson's Black Angus in the parking lot. The food is good, with meatless options, and they have happy hour.
The waterfront is about a 15-minute walk, with lovely views of the Columbia River and Oregon across it. There are new shops/restaurants. New high-rise apartment buildings. Plenty of parking. Farmer's Market on wiekends is a must, all organic, clean, healthy foods and products.
Vancouver has a lot of dog parks, really big ones, too!
It's close to Portland, just down I-5. I love the Zoo and Japanese Gardens in Portland, and the river cruises. There are flower fields in springtime that are glorious to see!
For wild swimming, Battleground State Park allows for lake swimming.
Omg, this place is beautiful and well-kept. I always come back home for church and or to see my family, I rent an expensive hotel with rude staff when I normally come into town but this was a much better fined. My mother is disabled, and it's hard for her to walk so renting this home made it easy for her to visit without climbing stairs. It was fully furnished, with dishes, and every home appliance you can think of!!! Whoever decorated did an amazing job. I loved that it had its cleaning supplies so it allowed me to clean as I needed.
Ted and Sallie are great hosts! They are very friendly and provide delicious breakfasts. Very attractive house. My room was large with a comfortable bed and Sallie arranged it so I had sole use of the bathroom across the hall (2 of the 4 rooms have ensuite). The B&B is located near (10 min walk) Vancouver's pretty waterfront (lots of restaurants and bars) and a 20-30 minute drive to Portland.
Location of course; then a great coffee bar inside hotel & a super restaurant & bar ( El Gaucho) rooftop bar really cool but the music was awful.
My main complaint was that the toilets flush like a 747 taking off. You wake up your partner in the night when you flush: & also you can hear the flushes nearby your room.. its pretty bad🥵
Dont know what to do to fix it: but its a big flaw…
A bit noisy but you can't fault the hotel for the clients. I liked the exercise room was open 24/7 and there was hot coffee available in the lobby at all hours of the day. The breakfast buffet was better than I expected; very good for a business guy on travel. Overall VERY NICE and I would stay there again if I have business in the area.
They were able to accommodate our needs very easily and the staff was welcoming and friendly. When we checked in, the man at the desk gave us a printed layout of the hotel and took the time to highlight where our room was and other important facilities. Considering the price and quality of this hotel, it’s definitely a deal.
Everything, we stayed in the two bedroom king suite and it was perfect. Everything was clean and the breakfast was the best we have ever had at any hotel location and we travel a lot! The location was perfect for the hospital my brother was in and close to the mall and food and activities.
Clean, comfortable, modern property
Courteous and helpful with staff ample parking. Good size rooms, newer hotel
Convenient for our overnight stay on this trip on the way to Seattle, and convenient to exploring the Vancouver/Portland/Columbia River area.
Would stay here again!
The hotel was fine, the rooms were clean and we had no issues with the facility. The issue we had was with the one staff member we met at the front desk. We waited for a while for someone to show up and when he did he had no clue what we were standing at the desk for.
Large room. Good breakfast. Tricky to get into driveway - it's pretty small when you don't know where it is, It's the one with the red painted curb! Area not fantastic but hotel good, Like the proximity to Fred Meyer & freeway
We thought it was very easy to find. We enjoyed the tv room in the basement and the host was responsive. We even added a few nights to extend our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe in the day and at night.
This is a gorgeous hotel. Rooms were large and clean. One of the best hotel beds I've ever slept on. Pool and hot tub were wonderful. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
