The Texas City Jetty is a good place to fish. Other people are always friendly, and it is fun. They charge $10 a car to fish for the day. It would be great if this money was spent on safer pier railing and lights. Port-a-potty is provided. Pier space is limited. We went to Burgers and Beyond on both our trips and enjoyed it. I recommend it. LaQuinta and Home2 are two hotels that Booking Dot.Com offers. Both come with breakfast. WoodSpring was not at all acceptable for us!

We were scheduled for a 1230 check-out, we dropped our son off and returned about 1010 a m. The room was being cleaned, our lunch and water had been discarded. The staff lady said there was nothing left in the room when started cleaning the room.

Service at local eateries and food chains was disappointing.
Service at local eateries and food chains was disappointing. Texas City needs major improvements for their level of customer service and quality of food offerings. Best to drive to Houston or Galveston for dining options.

The room was really comfy and nice.
The room was really comfy and nice. The black out curtains wasn’t so black out. Light came in and woke us up when we wasn’t ready to get up along with the a/c only went down to 66 degrees! Would prefer it to be colder! Overall I would say 8.5 out of 10 and that’s due to what I just mentioned. I would and will stay here again in the future. All spring hills suite I’ve stayed in were pretty comfy and good!

You've got to go to Big Phil's Soul & Creole Cafe.
You've got to go to Big Phil's Soul & Creole Cafe. The food as well as the staff was EXCELLENT! I can't forget the mimosas were great along with the music! Don't leave without going there for a meal.
Very well maintained and clean hotel. The staff are all friendly and warm and very hardworking. Breakfast had a decent variety from day to day, and it was well stocked with food levels being checked frequently. The daybed couch was brilliant and perfect for our six year old. The desk partition that opens allowed him privacy and could also be opened so we could check on him if needed. Lastly, the pool, while small, does already have a selection of life jackets for the kids. Such a thoughtful touch.
We booked here because Galveston was too expensive. Not a bad drive to Our activities in Galveston and Kemah. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was a little hard. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I was happy they actually came in daily to make up the room. Several hotels I’ve stayed at lately have postponed this service. Pool area was clean and pleasant.
I called to let the hotel know our arrival time and the lady on the phone said we did not have reservations, however, she could make reservations for us. I asked her if it would be for the same price and she stated no, the price would be higher. I argued with her and ended up hanging up because she was not friendly at all. I will never stay at this hotel again.
Clean and a very convenient location to the event we were attending that evening. Unfortunately I cannot remember the gentleman's name that checked us in and out....but, he was absolutely amazing!! Extremely hospitable and informative. This is how a hotel is supposed to be run!!!! Thanks for a GREAT stay!
I love old houses! This house was so charming, and we loved the decorations. Perfect size for our group of 11. The price was very reasonable which was one of the reasons we decided to stay in Texas City instead of Galveston. My grandkids loved sleeping up in the loft area with their mom and aunt.
Quiet location but close to numerous food outlets and restaurants. Very friendly vibe in the hotel with helpful staff, although on a number of occasions we would see reception staff sat around on their mobile phones. Great breakfast with a good selection of food. Gym was clean and well equipped.
The breakfast was adequate and the breakfast room was clean. I liked how you could come down and get coffee anytime. The staff at the hotel was very nice and helpful. they let us store our luggage in a back room until it was time to check-in.
The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable.
The location of this property is perfect cuz it’s right across the street from my job but everything else about this hotel is HORRIBLE!!!! Do not stay at this property unless you like sleeping with roaches and your water not draining. Comforters are horrible with holes in them and etc.
I like how I called to confirm my reservation before driving very far to this hotel, and they confirm that everything was good with my reservation to come on by and my room is ready. too bad when I got there it was a completely different story.
It was close to Galveston. Most hotels were booked because of the 4th of July. Breakfast was decent. They had eggs and a waffle maker. They tried keeping the breakfast items stocked. They did allow us to stay 30 mins past checkout.
There was no breakfast at all, we had to wait almost 45 min til room was ready. My wife went in and they had to still clean mire the restroom was bad had human waste in toilet and alot of bad thi gs going on in that hotel
I arrived to the hotel at about 12pm I was able to get my room right away. The room was nice and clean and big enough for 2 people. I liked that it was quiet and safe, front desk operator always had a smile on her face.😃
We had a nice 1 night stay in general.
The hotel looks nice and feels pleasant and safe. Rooms are spacious with a good mattress and had a sofa too.
Nice gym, nice indoor pool. Breakfast was included with our stay.
Didn't get a chance to eat breakfast, because we had to rest up for our cruise. (This was not the hotel's fault, we had to sleep). But other than that, the hotel was stunning. We plan to return in the future.
