Granbury is a lake destination community.
Granbury is a lake destination community. It has lots of surrounding lake activities to participate in with family. The downtown square is a big attraction with a comfortable walking square and park nearby. It is decorated for Christmas currently beautifully and has a newly renovated Opera house with shows to view. Lots of shops line the square along with choices of food, coffee, and wine eateries available. The city also has many chain restaurants as well as family owned, with an abundant stores to choose from. The main thing that most towns experiencing is traffic and shortage of parking, especially in popular areas. So, be patient and leave a few minutes early, and enjoy the local scenery.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

I was there for a family wedding so I didn't get a lot of time in the town or surrounding area. The Square is idyllic. We had dinner at Christina's. Food, service, ambience all great. I liked that it was a short drive to downtown Granbury and the other places we needed to go. The safety gates on the patio are awesome to keep an eye out on grandkids until you can get down to the dock and water's edge with them. The lake is very beautiful and lakehouse had a great view. Granbury is a cute little town.
Granbury is a cute little town. Fun shops and places to eat on the town square. Nice lake with beach. Enjoy the festivals they have. Always get a hotel and stay for the awesome 4th of July fireworks show.

The best part of our stay was the staff. The manager Michael Whipps went above and beyond what was expected to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. He was very welcoming, my husband and I are still staying at this location, due to a job relocation. And, I find myself calling it home. Granbury is a great little town just a short walk away from the B&B, and Betsy was really helpful talking us through where everything was and her recommendations. Couldn't ask for a better stay or better hosts 😀
