Downtown Fredericksburg is cute with lots of shops, although most are pricey. Free street parking! Many, many wineries nearby!
Lady Bird Park is amazing! We were in town for viewing the solar eclipse, and they treated us like royalty! No charge for admittance. No parking passes needed. Tons of staff available throughout! Permanent restrooms and tons of porta potties. Free eclipse glasses. Food and souvenirs available. The park is big, beautiful, and well-maintained. We were in a car, but there were camping sites too. Surprisingly fast and easy getting out of the park due to folks directing traffic. Kudos to whomever was in charge of Lady Bird Park on April 8, 2024!

All merchants restaurant personal were friendly and polite.
All merchants restaurant personal were friendly and polite. Things went well with all reservations. The price for the rental was high dye to the eclipse. Even guides at enchanted Rock were helpful and allowed us in, even though we didn't have reservations.

I thought Main St in Fredericksburg was too expensive.
I thought Main St in Fredericksburg was too expensive. Most of the items we looked at were made in China and overpriced. We were disappointed in the items available and the prices.
I would have enjoyed seeing more of the town and learning more about the community.

Great town in the "Napa Valley" of Texas!
Great town in the "Napa Valley" of Texas! But just not Wine Country, Fredericksburg has so many things to do and great places to eat and drink. Early Texas and German culture mixed with a first-class atmosphere!

Fredericksburg was founded by German immigrants in the early 1800s it's one of the biggest wine making areas in Texas it's a wonderful town full of charm old old homes that are beautiful many many shops and a great place to visit
Location was Awesome. Absolutely better than any hotel or B&B in town. This was our first stay in a B&B and we will for sure stay here again. We are planning our next stay at this same location. It was that nice!! I will and would recommend this to anyone. Book it you will absolutely love it!!! Short drive from Fredericksburg and many other sites to see yet out in the country and away from everything!!!!
The room was clean, spacious and it had what was needed. It had enough charging stations for devices.
Hiking trip to Enchanted Rock and this location was great for Enchanted Rock. One street to drive- 17 miles out. I also enjoyed the location is near eateries, grocery store and gas station. It is easy to get to downtown Fredericksburg. I like that they are pet friendly.
Location was great, hotel was clean and proximity to downtown was perfection. Staff was very nice and the pool and all the little sitting areas were very well kept. It’s not the fanciest hotel, but for the value and location, you can’t beat it. The free breakfast was a huge perk. I am so happy we found this spot for any overnights we now plan to Fredricksburg.
Great little charming road hotel located just off the main Fredericksburg street. Staff are all very kind and accommodating. They greet you with a smile and are more than willing to educate you on Fredericksburg! Pool looked very clean. Rooms were fairly traditional design. Nothing more, nothing less. Just what I needed for the night.
The price I paid did not meet my expectations, only said this because once I got to the room it was better than I expected. The price was well worth the stay. Every thing was very clean, room very nice and location was very close to city center of town. Will recommend it to others as a place to stay over than the larger hotel chains.
Absolutely charming place to stay. The attention to detail in these Swiss style cabins is amazing. Comfy beds and everything you need for a great stay. The cabins are a 5 minute drive from all of the shops and restaurants on Main Street. We can't wait to come again.
Really nice hotel downtown Fredricksburg. Must be remodel recently. Plenty of easy parking. Fantastic pool area, really resort/spa style. The (hot and cold) breakfast was great. Lots of choices for everybody. The staff was great. We'll come again.
everything was great. even met the owner who was very nice and we had about a five minute conversation about the constructuction of the cabins.very nice man.id love to stay there again on our return visit to fredericksburg
Value for money was fab. Was perfect for a sleep whilst driving through. Staff were helpful and friendly and room was very clean. worth the money. Would visit again.
Room was very clean. It is comfortable. It is not fancy but everything worked. We were looking for a place to sleep as we were visiting family in ther area.
The room was spotless and smelled fresh when we walked in. It was actually cleaner than some “ hotels” I’ve stayed in. I will definitely be staying here again.
