I think Corpus is amazing and I would defiantly visit again, we went to the Texas Sate Aquarium, which was amazing for my foster kids being there first time. We stayed at the Double Tree Hotel and their service was great and they had a bar and restraint there, so being able to stay in and eat at the hotel was awesome. The beachies were amazing, clean, there were a lot of road work going on near the Aquarium so a little crazy and crowded.

Looks like poverty and weather has hit the area hard.
Looks like poverty and weather has hit the area hard. Streets are convoluted so you often have to do big circles to get to where you want. Most of the town feels unsafe. The beach is beautiful, there are plenty of places to eat and things to do.

I love that you can drive on the beach.
I love that you can drive on the beach. There's a lot of food options. There were plenty of different options as far as style of food and expense levels that you could want. Seemed cleaner than most beach towns and water was pretty clear for Texas coast.

The thing I didn't like that i was having to pay for parking for my stay there, it should be included w the stay. There is always a way to handle this issue if others want to park there for other reasons than d hotel, yes charge them not people staying at hotel.

The original room we were placed in, the bed was covered in urine and they just placed clean bedsheets over it. But they did change our room, however they did not offer any compensation, we had to ask & it was just a minimal amount:(
This is my place to stay each time I visit corpus christi. Staff has always been professional and a nice welcome each time. I missed the big TX waffle at breakfast, but hopefully I'll get it on my next visit. It was raining in CC this time so I just stayed in my room staying warm. Nice comfortable bed. For now this hotel is my place and have been staying there every year I visit CC. I recommend Town Suites highly. Thank you staff for everything and also the lady that prepares the breakfast. Awesome!
The breakfast was really, really good. Bacon and sausage!! Waffles were good too, better than all the hotels I have been to in the last 1.5 months. Every day, they added a new flavor, plus the original.
The beds were comfy.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
The cook greeted everyone in the morning and took care of the station very well. Attentive.
Different options for restaurants in area.
The charming and unique rooms had names instead of numbers and each room was personally decorated by the owner in a theme that reflected the room name. The hotel had a B&B feel to it. The owner met us and personally showed us to our room.
When the hotel is advertised as being "on the beach", that is an understatement. The shoreline was less than 75 yards away from the back of the property.
I had an amazing time staying at the Doubletree Hilton. The hotel is situated just in front of North Brach and is close to the Lexington Naval Ship and the Taxes State Aquarium. Zach Bornstein, the hotel's general manager, was incredibly gracious and waived one night's worth of fees for the issue we encountered before moving us to another room.
definitely better than what i was expecting based off of other reviews . we were on the top floor so the noise from the bar next door wasnt a problem . the room was clean , bathroom was nice and clean . slept great , and was super close to the beach we were able to take a little night walk on the beach and walk back to the hotel easily .
We didn’t even stayed there. The hotel looked abandoned. When we walked into the room it smelled awful, the bed looked Ike it was 20 years old and the sheets had holes. Blinds were broken in some windows and the oool was green. Worst hotel I have ever been to. We left and booked a room across the street in the Hampton Inn.
Typical little hotel by the beach (short drive or bike ride) perfect for students or families alike. There is a small parking lot and the rooms are quite comfy, with a full kitchen if you feel like cooking. Receptionist was awesome and she was also a very kind lady.
Staff was nice and helpful. Hotel was clean. Pretty good variety for breakfast. Wear and tear was visible around hotel grounds, but nothing that wouldn't be expect from an older and directly on the beach.
We didn’t like anything about the hotel. It’s dirty, outdated, the pictures are not accurate. Rude staff. I wouldn’t step foot in this dirty hotel, If I read the reviews on google, they were very accurate.
Priceline should never have endorsed or booked for this shack. The room was filthy, sheets unchanged, sand on floor and the door wouldn’t lock. I felt unsafe and left and had to pay for a decent hotel.
Very central downtown, clean hotel and friendly service. Breakfast is a good one and not so far away from European Standards. Very good bar and thanks to the bartenders for the amazing Tequila tasting
The location was good almost on the beach. The booking site showed a different hotel that was also a Holiday Inn that was closed. Need to update site information. Very misleading.
I loved the fact that they had the Jetski Rental right behind the hotel on the beach. We had a BLAST!!! Happy Father’s Day to all the great dads out there.
