Canton was a nice place to visit and the food there was really good. I ate at Dairy Palace and the food was delicious. Will definitely go back there when I visit. The market shops are awesome. I could have visited there several days. There is so much to see. 99% of the vendors were very nice.

This is quite honestly close to being a PERFECT motel.
This is quite honestly close to being a PERFECT motel.
The owner is on premises and makes sure his place remains secure, polite, and comfortable.
The outside looks old and quaint, rustic, NOT run down.
Each room is home-y and the handwritten note by the owner's wife hoping your stay is pleasant goes way beyond corporate efficiency.
All was clean--no bugs, no smells, no hairs in sheets or in tub or sink, no cigarette burns on bed spread.
All amenities--including in room coffee maker--worked properly.
The old fashioned key entry worked and I felt quite secure. Some might complain about a too-bouncy bed, but I slept easily and soundly.

Trip to Canton went very well. Canton Inn was excellent.
Trip to Canton went very well. Canton Inn was excellent. The only drawback to the entire trip was the fact that the eating establishments were overcrowded due to the amount of people in town and the 'Virus' restrictions. We will be back.

If you like flea markets, this is THE place!
If you like flea markets, this is THE place! Not just the main location, but ALL around town...
Will come again, someday, in the not too distant future... Bring several $5 bills, for parking. Google 1st Monday shopping areas for ideas, in Canton! Note: 1st Monday can start at the end of the previous month; The main show starts the Thursday BEFORE the 1st Monday, year around.

Have family that live in Canton now. Usually come to First Monday Trade Days but then the hotel prices are double what they are regularly. Having family to visit always makes it better.Ate at The Kickin Mule on the square. Food was delicious and ample. Wait staff very accomodating.Getting around Canton is pretty easy, just a few roads. And there is some limited clothing stores in a strip mall not to far.

We were passing through so we didn’t get to stay long, but we would definitely like to come back and spend more time in the area! We ate at a fairly new restaurant called The Kickin Mule - the food and the service were great! Excellent salad bar! 😃
Nothing like staying at a cold impersonal motel. Everyone is so friendly. Staff cannot do enough to let you know you are welcome and they truly appreciate you staying with them. Once you arrive you don’t need to drive again unless you want to drive. Everything you could need is within walking distance. Everything is as exactly as advertised. I will stay nowhere else when in the area
Convenient location to Canton. The grounds and pool area were well maintained. We were accommodated with an early check-in at no extra fee (which is a new thing we've encountered lately).
Breakfast was not part of the contract, but they have a quaint little restaurant just a few yards from the hotel, Excellent, and prices were excellent as well.
