I was only there for part of the day and I explored the Taft Museum/National Park. It was very interesting and there is a lot of information on President Taft. The house is in great shape but does have a lot of steps, however there is also a hidden elevator. Just tell your guide about your mobility issues. I had plans to see the zoo but it was 35 degrees with snow flurries the next day. So I opted for the Creation Museum; it has really grown since my last visit! It is awesome.

Like many cities Cincinnati is beautiful in parts.
Like many cities Cincinnati is beautiful in parts. There is a great art and food scene, and plenty to do and enjoy. Transit is not particularly difficult and parking is difficult but available, and pricy.
The problem with Cincinnati is the level of crime and drug use throughout the city. One can't walk 100 yards without smelling marijuana and the promlems of poverty and homelessness are continuously evident. The good and bad parts are common to most cities. Oddly right across the river in Newport Kentucky the crime, drugs, etc. Seem basically non-existent. The Newport Aquarium and Hoffbrau Haus were great.

We came away with a much greater appreciation for the city of Cincinnati and Ohio in general. We appreciated amazing food, art deco architecture, art, and science in the city. The zoo is so much more than just Fiona. The animal enclosures are well-designed to provide a reasonable experience for the animals and great viewing for guests. The Cincinnati Museum Center and American Sign Museum were fun too.

Was in for a conference so didn't really have time to spend sight-seeing downtown. From what I could observe, downtown area has a number of closed businesses downtown and lots of constructions which made driving somewhat challenging.

Cincinnati is a great walking city.
Cincinnati is a great walking city. We were there for a couple of Reds games and as a home base to go visit the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. We enjoyed an outdoor concert in Fountain Square at night and it was great.
Location was very good in downtown Cincinnati; loved being on a relatively high floor (15th); bottled water was complimentary; room was very quiet, aside from street noise, but that's kind of unavoidable (there was no elevator noise, etc); staff was very friendly. While checking in, the parking valet asked when I would need my car in the morning (to ensure somebody would be available if I was checking out unusually early.). Check in staff was very helpful explaining the free street car system in the downtown area, which I used.
Such a great place to stay in Cincinnati - we felt like we could move in! The rooms are large, comfortable, and have plenty of conveniences, like the near-full-size kitchen, great desk/work area, plentiful shelves and drawers, and even well-placed hooks. The staff is super kind and helpful, they even knew our names by the end of our stay. We spent a lot of time in the pool, which was great, and used the laundry as well. The hotel really feels like a home away from home.
Large room, comfortable bed (this is always a good thing)
At most hotels, I complain the the breakfast provided doesn't work for me, as I am lactose intolerant. None of the hotels I have stayed at have plant-based milk for breakfast, so I can't have dry cereal with milk for breakfast. But ... Best Western Hannaford Inn & Suites had almond milk!! That was fantastic, I had some cereal with almost milk, loved it ... but there's more to the story, see below.
First time I went there. I was welcomed by Sherry who was awesome! She was so kind, comforting and professional! She did everything she could so that I have an enjoyable stay. She immediately made me feel comfortable after a draining flight. Thank you Sherry! And thank you to Lydia as well! Nice room with big bed and everything you need. Breakfast was good too. Nex time I will come to Cincinnati I will go back there with no hesitation!
This historic hotel is quite grand - its Art Deco stylings are really quite stunning and you really get the sense you're staying in somewhere special. The rooms were excellent - huge, comfy beds, memory foam pillows etc. Among all the grandeur, however, what really make this hotel is the staff. The front desk workers were extremely friendly and helpful, while Kelley the porter is a really special, larger-than-life character.
This was my first time staying at a Tru by Hilton and we loved it!! The front desk staff were awesome from check in to checking out. Probably the best breakfast since COVID at a hotel. Loved how modern everything was. The room was perfect! It was so nice to see that there wasn't any carpet in the room. The shower pressure was fantastic and nice and hot! We will absolutely be staying again.
The hotel was very clean and up to date, including the room. The bathroom was stocked with great brand-name soaps and shampoos... etc. The staff was very welcoming. The breakfast was extremely good... probably the best hotel breakfast I've had in a long time. The location was perfect for our trip to visit University of Cincinnati.
I love love the rooms.....they are very accommodating....I love how the room has two beds and a sofa bed.....I love the space and I love the fact, when I get to my room it's ice cold....I love that....this by far is the best hotel and when I come to ohio, it's the only hotel I'll stay at. Please keep up the Excellent work
The hotel is extremely close to Cincinnati's medical facilities and university. It was both clean and quiet and the front desk staff was extremely friendly. While the decor seemed a little loud, I appreciated the fact that the hotel has a very distinctive look. It is definitely not your typical roadside hotel.
We stay here frequently because our son has medical appointments at the University of Cincinnati. I enjoyed it more before the remodel, back when it was still Marriott. However, the new look has a lot of fun things to see! The room is VERY colorful. The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly.
Located in the middle of what only can be described as skid row of downtown Cincinnati. People live in their cars in the parking garage. TV did not work. Bathroom was smaller then the closet. The ONLY positive was the bed was comfortable
The staff is very nice and friendly. The bed was comfortable. The location is good; the hotel is close to both the CVG airport and downtown Cincinnati. Overall, I believe this hotel is suitable for quick weekend trips to Cincinnati.
The hotel was beautiful, and luxurious. The room was comfortable, quiet, and had a great view. But most of all, the cleanliness of the room and the constant warm water in the wihirlpool was the best part of our stay!
I wasn't in the hotel much.
Staff were friendly & attentive, which I've come to expect from Courtyard. Love the brand and will always look for Courtyard first, wherever I am travelling.
It suited me as somewhere homey but modern to stay while I was in Ohio visiting family. Plenty of facilities in and outside of the room and well placed for local pubs and food places.
