You'll spend most of your time driving OUTSIDE of Aquebogue...

You'll spend most of your time driving OUTSIDE of Aquebogue to anywhere with real substance. Not too many attractions in general in Riverhead, and even less within a 10 to 15 mile radius. Limited restaurant options and the ones that are there tend to be very overpriced or need reservations. Good if you want a cheaper place to stay while visiting the Hamptons, but not a destination in itself.

A quaint boutique property nicely decorated right on the bay...

A quaint boutique property nicely decorated right on the bay with private beach and nice staff. The rug in our room looked a bit shabby worn out otherwise everything else in the room was great. This place needs a fire pit to enhance guest experience and add value. The outdoors have nice furniture and tiki bar and fire pit was the only thing missing. We loved everything overall and would return for another weekend getaway.
