High Marks Rentals were great in customer service and friendliness renting great new model snowmobiles. Great eating establishments. Parked the snowmobiles right outside Kelly Inn for convenience. Full active days in the wonders of what God created.
Drove our snowmobiles to eat at night! Drove to the grocery. Gased up each day at the Sinclair a couple blocks on the way to trails and open fields. Very deep deep powdery snow. Especially up on Two Tops.
Tired at night. ☺️😴

Make sure you book snowmobiling tours to the national park...
Make sure you book snowmobiling tours to the national park at least a week ahead, we didn't know the park was closed on the west side so we ended up not seeing anything :/ (snow coach is extremely pricey, almost 500 bucks for two, so we couldn't afford it) snowmobiling is so much fun we ride on trails.

Most incredible trip ever!!
Most incredible trip ever!! Our family of five snowmobiled, saw so much wildlife, enjoyed dog sledding (Spirit of the North), shopping, and a sleigh ride to a nearby ranch (Parade Rest Ranch), where we ate a delicious chili lunch. To see Yellowstone in the winter was magical!
We ate at Bullwinkles, Hanks, Wild West Pizzaria & our favorite shop was the Rustic Bison.

I spent two days exploring the park.
I spent two days exploring the park. Each day felt a little rushed and consequently didn’t spend as much time as I wanted in each spot. In hindsight, 4 days would have been perfect to explore and enjoy the park more comfortably- there’s so much beauty to appreciate!

Gateway city to Yellowstone National Park.
Gateway city to Yellowstone National Park. Cute old style town with old buildings housing shops and restaurants. There is an IMAX which shows Yellowstone films. Also there’s the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center.

West Yellowstone is a gem of a little city and you can’t beat the proximity to Yellowstone and some of its best attractions (geothermals/geysers). Really enjoyed our stay at the White Buffalo - it was easy to walk the town and find dinner from the hotel. Recommend the slippery otter pub just across the park and on the corner. The breakfast at the hotel exceeded my expectations, it was beyond the usually “breakfast included” options. The hotel itself is old, has some decent renovations, the rooms were large and comfortable.
A wonderful base for our exploration into Yellowstone and around Montana. It was so nice to pull in and out of a motel type setup as we prepare for the day’s activities. An ice machine nearby was great to get our cooler ready. The kitchen was great to boil our water as the coffee setup was not as hot as we preferred. The hot water in the shower was great after a long day in the park. The location could not be better. Thank you to the staff who went out of their way to ensure cleanliness and comfort for their guest.
Best place to stay, if visiting Yellowstone National Park. It's right at the entrance to the park! From west Yellowstone, access to the whole park is easy and nearer than other options. The staff at Al's Westward Ho is extremely friendly and helpful. They even offer free coffee in the morning from a convenience store, nearby. The rates are extremely reasonable, considering the location. We would absolutely recommend this motel.
Everything! By far, Crosswinds was the best property we experienced during our travels across five states from New York in the East to California in the West.
Hot breakfast, daily housekeeping, thoughtful design, in-room amenities, responsive staff, and an excellent location make Crosswinds the motel (should be hotel, really) of choice at West Yellowstone.
Thank you. We could not have asked for more!!
The location is excellent, only 5-10 minutes to West Yellowstone's entrance. More, there are some restaurants and supermarkets nearby, that open up till late, so it's convenient to get whatever you want after a tiring day in Yellowstone.
Breakfast was my favorite part of my stay at White Buffalo Hotel. Lots of food to choose from, and the staff were professional and kind. Loved it!
The couple that checked us in was very nice and organized. The pool was closed temporarily but we were allowed access to a nearby hotel’s pool. The breakfast was great (reviews confirmed!) with a great variety of food. The location was great for walking to downtown West Yellowstone and also really close to the West entrance to Yellowstone.
The Explorer Cabins, at the Grey Wolf Inn, are very convenient to the Discovery Center, the IMAX, downtown West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park. We went for the cross country skiing at Rendezvous rails which is nearby.
Full kitchen, big bathroom, large TV screen and they let us bring our (well-behaved) dog.
Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of seating for our group of 7. I traveled most of my career and honestly I chose to eat anywhere but the hotel in which I am staying; however, the Kelly Inn in West Yellowstone had a great variety and quality breakfast.
Met by Cynthia on arrival to hand over the keys. Gave us a rundown of West Yellowstone and how to access the park easily.
Ideal location as easy to access all West Yellowstone had to offer. Entrance to Yellowstone Park 2 mins drive away.
Elkhorn Cabins and Inn is in a great location in West Yellowstone, very near the Yellowstone National Park west entrance. The cabins are simple, but very nice and clean. The staff members were very nice and helpful.
Very good location for Yellowstone National Park. We loved the little town, many places where to eat and shop around. The hotel looks more like a motel, but it was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a short stay.
West Yellowstone town was nice and very close to the national park. The hotel was convenient and comfortable for our one night stay and included breakfast. We were pleased to have use of the small pool.
The Yellowstone Park Hotels is well situated within easy reach of the main street in town as well as the West Gate Entrance to Yellowstone Park. Access was important and this hotel met that requirement
The location was fine. It was easy to find there was plenty of parking and the hotel is within walking distance of everything.
The room was a good size, clean and comfortable.
Clean rooms, centrally located hotel with parking. We traveled to west Yellowstone with a group of 22 people. Very nice abc helpful staff at this location.
