Jen's diner is wonderful the sausage gravy and biscuits, pancakes and eggs were delicious.
Best little diner I've ever been to. Service was awesome.
Walmart was crazy busy didn't have enough register open or self check outs. Bathrooms were disgusting.

This was our first visit to the city.
This was our first visit to the city. Unfortunately with this pandemic we didn't get to enjoy as much as we wanted. There are so many restaurants we'd like to try. We love that there's a Baskin Robbins. Y'all have a lot of everything in your town!!

Our group actually only traveled to Poplar Bluff for the hotel room. We spent the day in Van Buren tubing/rafting the Current River.
Van Buren is not a large enough town to accommodate many tourists.
Poplar Bluff is a nice, cheap city to sleep while enjoying the river.
My car broke down in Poplar Bluff, MO and I am grateful we stopped where we did.
We stopped at the hotel around 8PM, checked in and when I got in the car to move it, I couldn't put the car in gear. Fortunately, the hotel let me keep it parked under the canopy for the night. Last minute I brought an extra set of keys so I could lock my car. The young man at night and young lady working in the morning were a blessing!!!!
Free breakfast and discounted dinner from the attached restaurant was amazing! Staff was so very courteous. Lela was the front office attendant and she was so polite and worked with us even while the phone was ringing off the hook and multiple people at the counter. Beds were great, sheets were soft, room was perfectly cool and the whole Hotel was exceptionally clean.
Staff was exceptional. We felt very comfortable and at home. Loved that they were Pet friendly as we have stayed at another hotel in town and they Charged $50 for my 7 lb dog where Motel 6 charged NOTHING!
Your staff. Friendly, helpful just great customer service. Kanye in the breakfast area was exceptional, just couldn’t do enough. We had a wonderful experience at your Poplar Bluff location.
It's 10 minutes away from the lake. Which is what we were there for. Also just a few minutes away from poplar bluff so we were able to go out for dinner. Moose themed decor really cute.
We stay here anytime we pass through, our favorite hotel in the area. Love the complimentary happy hour and dinner snacks, really helps settle us in. Very friendly staff.
