If you intend to walk to a resturant then this is not the place. Not much to do within walking distance. Downtown Battle Creek is actualy pretty nice but then the pricing is not the same. All depends what you want.

Staff was polite.
Staff was polite. Tried several times to report to management when I returned home BED BUGS. After response, I call the health department and was told they will send a letter to hotel and wait for them to respond that they sprayed.

The town seemed very friendly and getting around was easy. The only concern I had was that we parked about a mile from the Trump rally and had to walk on sidewalks that were not cleared (about 2-3 inches of snow on the ground). It was dangerous and we had to walk in the street. You would think if you were hosting a presidential rally that you would want to put your best foot forward and clear the sidewalks!!WilliamUnited States of America - 8.0Scored 8.0

I enjoyed the Casino visiting with are grandson who is in collage at Western. We had dinner with him up the main road and at the casino. We wanted to visit the Zoo but the weather wasn't good it rained. Everything you need is fairly close

If your wanting something with bunch of bells and whistles go to an expensive hotel. If you need anything ask they are very accommodating . This red roof inn was clean and affordable. The parking lot was amazing for truck with trailer carrying freight and lighting was great. Also nice place to walk dogs. Peaceful stop away from home, they had coffee in the lobby and there was a really great donut shop right in front of the parking lot .

We’ve stayed at different red roof inns and this was the most dated and poorly maintained. Would not recommend if staying with family.

The beds are comfortable, the TV works, microwave and fridge in every room and always clean! The more expensive hotels in the area are terrible!! I strongly recommend this hotel.
